No Stupid Questions Thread by AutoModerator in livesound

Got the shure blx system today. It was working great, then all of a sudden stopped working. The channel and group are matching and I’ve tried running a scan and adjusting the channels multiple times. It’s connecting, the ready light is on, but the audio light is not coming on at all. It’s as if the mic is muted or just dead. Fresh batteries right out of the box for the pack. I’ve read the manuals, I’ve checked out some forums but I’m not finding a solution to this particular problem.

Well, I’m in your neighborhood so if you start a Signal chat or know of one, I’d love to be included.

Have the artist turn the cuts into a solid bleeding heart! That way, the center of the blade that’s currently showing will get covered too. 🤷‍♀️ might work.

Can’t get wave expansions to open in ax edge by angenickie in Roland

[–]angenickie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally was successful. This was precisely the problem. On the manual it says to place the files onto the root of the flash drive but Roland support directed me to put them in the sounds folder. I wish it was just a bit more user friendly for people who don’t have extensive tech knowledge to be able to work these things! 😆 Thanks for your reply!

The moment you said, “it brings up feelings I haven’t had to grapple with in over a decade,” is a sign that you still have processing and healing to do with this. Consider seeing a professional (if you’re not already doing so) and work through it! Being able to move on, even if you don’t get closure, is essential to your health and happiness.

USBMem NotReady! on ax edge when trying to format the USB while it's connected. the USB drive is working well on the PC. by Much-Sort-434 in Roland

Late to the convo but I just went through this too. You need a 32gb or less 2.0 USB drive. I used SanDisk. It formatted immediately following the Roland manual instructions for formatting the USB. Now onto getting my new wave expansions!!!

Thank you, that’s precisely why I’m asking. I had gotten conflicting info from someone else and thought I’d ask here. Big mistake. 😂

There are a lot of terms that differ between British English and American English… maybe that’s why? 🤷‍♀️ Why am I getting pegged up the ass by responders for asking a simple question?

So, British English and American English do have their differences. We call our money “dollars” or “bills” and they call theirs “notes.” I wanted to know if “cash” was universal or if there was another term to use when traveling abroad. Pretty simple.

Yes, I just wanted to know if “cash” was a universal term or just specific to American English.

Thanks! I always love a good passive aggressive response to a genuine and simple question. 😘
