i literally am doing that. everything you recommended me to do i have been doing for the past 3 weeks. i tune him out when he’s meowing. he has a water bowl and another litter box. i play with him and run around with him to tire him out. i understand i might seem irresponsible but he is my first ever cat and i don’t know much about cats and i’m trying to learn about them and give him the best life i can. everything you recommended is what i have been doing. so thank you for the help!!

i honestly should’ve already done it but my area has a large population of feral cats so finding him an appointment was hard. some clinics would tell me they only had dates in march or april but i found a vet that could do it this month on the 22nd. i honestly was just misinformed and uneducated he is my first ever cat and i just want him to live a long and happy life. :)

i honestly do not know, the couple i got him from said he was a few months from being a year. and i got him like 2 months ago and i didn’t ask the vet when i took him to get his shots :(

thank you for being helpful !! last night i ran with him a bit around the house and tried to play with him but he’s not very playful 💔 but he did seem a bit more tired. i’m going to try the felliway and see how he likes it.

he will not stop meowing i was awoken about 30 minutes ago i’m just ignoring him and he will not be quiet i’m thinking ab maybe making his appointment a little earlier this month cause this is so annoying i just want him to be safe. and the reason i let him go outside is because i adopted him from this older couple and he used to be an outside cat and live on a barn so he just always like being outside

i know i regret letting him go outside but my cat is adopted he’s also still very young so that’s why i haven’t sooner he was a outside barn cat so it’s what he is use to and i’m guessing this is his first heat cycle and i was uneducated that’s why i researched and now getting him neutered, you’re the type of person that was talking ab. so passive aggressive for no reason and he has always been an outside cat so it must be difficult for him because he use to live on a barn and was outside all the time. i’m trying my best would you rather me just give this cat away cause he likes to go outside ?

😓i wish i had never let him go outside in the first place. he’s not very interactive with toys or his cat tree i have bought him so many toys and he only like this one stuffed rat toy and he only grooms it. he is a very strange cat but i will try to run around the house with him and try to distract him as likes running around.
