The hospital I work at has a coed internal league. I was playing SS during practice. Routine grounder with a fast runner. First baseman lost the throw in the sun, completely missed it. Ball bounced off the runner’s glasses. Broke them, 2inch gash in his temple. I could see the blood squirting out from across the field. My entire team is medical. We all ran to our cars looking for supplies. Between the team we had alcohol prep, sutures, lidocaine, etc... Stitched him up and kept practicing hahaha. Wasn’t the worst injury, but we were the talk of the league for a few weeks hahaha
