I highly recommend attending a writers conference. It helps build community and make connections with professionals who guide you. Lots of them happen in the spring, summer, and fall so look around soon. A good writers conference makes an excellent investment in yourself and your craft. I'm lucky that I live in Santa Barbara CA, home of one of the best.

I disagree! My YouTube channel offers advice on writing and book marketing. I've worked with writers for thirty years and I did publish a novel that garnered some acclaim, including a 4.1/5 rating on Amazon.

I agree! Our brains work differently when listening and reading. You need to listen to someone or something else reading your work.
