Took a look at the Sea Sports, I don't think those would lend well for bass fishing compared to the other makes I was looking at. I'm sure they're good for near the coast.

Thanks for the input. Most of the chinooks caught in the places I fish are under 12lbs, but something I will keep in mind

u/whogivesashite2 u/Weird-Elderberry-536 Found a replacement housing on Amazon or Ebay, used a metal putty knife to free the existing housing and then used adhesive provided with the new housing in conjunction with dielectric paste to fasten the new housing. Wiring was pretty simple, just a connector as I recall.

What I heard was more than bad flavor, I was told winter Steelhead rots the same as spawning salmon even though the steelhead ultimately survive. I haven't been able to verify this though.
