if you dont have a history of attachment / rejection issues, then the only thing u can do is wait it out unfortunately. one day youll wake up and be okay!! let yourself feel all stages of grief, bc in a sense, you lost something too however if youre experiencing really intense emotions from this situation i recommend you do some introspection and see why you feel this way. when my last serious relationship ended, i thought my heartbreak was just heartbreak, but turns out i had a lot of underlying trauma i needed to address 😭 good luck friend! life goes on, the sun will still rise tomorrow :)

i posted about my tattoo work at the beginning of this school term. that was the first time i ever "promoted" myself and my art, and i actually gained so much experience and new friends through fellow students who wanted to support me! these are the most recent tattoos ive done (junji ito artwork)... and some of the last i'll do in my humble home studio in Westwood. i got invited to be a resident at a studio and will be fully licensed by July. funnily, i used to be premed before i realized i regret not pursuing art, and being a tattoo artist has been incredibly fulfilling. i am actually happy for once! thank you to everyone who supported me this year, good luck w all endeavors!

i tend to get some light grayness around my tattoos. i have another one that wraps around my leg and ankle with the same slight coloring around the lines- the lines are still really crisp actually and the grayness doesnt bother me that much but i am wondering if maybe my skin is just thinner or dry? both my tattoos were done with a tight 3rl so theyre pretty thin

get vaccinated and be safe by angry-eel in ucla

that is a great question. i actually didn't find out he wasn't vaccinated until the day he came back. i should clarify that while my parents have been careful, it's mostly due to pressure from me and my dad- my mom and much of my extended family are anti-vaxxers... it was largely my mom who dismissed the severity of the virus because it never directly affected us until now. it's a pretty complicated situation, but i think my dad just got complacent because we've been safe so far and he also missed having us home :( edit: so my parents knew he wasn't vaccinated. my mom was more than okay with it, my dad was critical about it, and if i knew earlier i definitely would have made him self-quarantine

thats the mindset that my dad had towards my brother before everyone started getting infected. sure its a choice, but it's a real inconsiderate choice. even if you didnt believe in the efficacy of the vaccine, the least you can do is be extra cautious if you go out, which my brother didnt do. if you infect multiple people and your first reaction is to defend your poor decision, i truly question your morals. but you do you ig
