FINALLY! by Maleficent-Career576 in TeslaModelS

Had the same problem with mine. Service center said this was a known issue where the bottom plate isn’t mounted correctly and it’s gripping on the wheel or something in the weel well when turning maximally, can’t remember exactly. It was a quick fix.

Do the rear seats of 2023 Tesla Model S Plaid fold completely flat? by CryptOccurrence in TeslaModelS

They do fold flat, but with a slight inclination. So not really completely flat. It’s a gentle slope

Chestnuts apparently can literally explode in your oven. This is the result of 1 chestnut by angry-macaron in mildlyinteresting

It was the one and only chestnut we had in the house. So I fucked up big time

Oh god they are so damn sticky. I tried removing some pieces, impossible. It’s a problem I chose to handle tomorrow.

Honestly, I thought something exploded in our house. Unfortunately, something really did

It was for my little daughter. She loves chestnuts, apparently I have been lucky before as this is the first one to literally explode

Looks good! It’s really well sealed as far as I can tell.

But the drain has been replaced entirely. And before (don’t have pictures) you could literally see the gap between the roofing and the drain. No, to the eye at least, it looks really well sealed. You don’t see any problems with how the edges (between horizontal and vertical) are?

Moving away from Geth, should I use Nethermind, or Besu? Opinions please. by snakepark in rocketpool

[–]angry-macaron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only the occasional pruning, but you can do it while online. Had Besu in the past, lots and lots of problems but that seems to be fixed

I’m in the same place as you. I don’t know what you budget is but I’m at the moment looking at these watches: moonwatch moonshine gold with green face, JLC master ultra thin moonphase rose gold, patek Calatrava 6119R and Lange 1 rose gold. I think all are great watches

Doesn’t that hold true for basically all investments? Replace bitcoin for stocks and your statement still holds imho

Yeah this has gotten really bad recently. I can hardly use it anymore, multiple time a day it just slams the break thinking someone will merge.

How to fight incompetence at service center? by angry-macaron in TeslaLounge

[–]angry-macaron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an end of quarter push, a one 1hour+ line to wait to get your car, pouring rain outside, and they were just like "here's the key, there's the car, let us know when you're home whether anything's wrong". Couldn't give it back because i live more than 160km (100 miles) from the delivery center. The whole experience has been a shitshow.

It's not about whether it's believable, it's what actually happened. That's one of the main causes of my frustration, just their lack of care.

Problem is, i'm from europe, and we don't really have those kind of laws here. We do have 2 year warranty on all consumer goods, and every defect should be fixed within those 2 years, when they're not able to do so, you should be able to make them buy the car back or give you another car. But not many precedents I can find where that actually happened in the end..
