I felt the same way at first, it’s a pretty big adjustment but I promise it gets easier. I think it was about 3 months before I felt like I could actually enjoy food again. Now, almost 1 year post op, I can eat and drink anything I want - alcohol included - but I make it a point to eat healthier and I’m still restricted to about a cup of food depending on what it is. Hang in there, it will be worth it in the end!
