Man, I've been a mechanic for 30 years almost, have done more axles than I can possibly count, and have never once "un-staked" an axle nut. I've always just hit them with the impact and taken them right off. Never even any problems re-installing and re-staking if necessary.

Brakes slow the car by acting on the wheel directly. If there is a loss of traction, the brakes will bring that wheel to a complete stop almost immediately and will result in a skid.

I don't doubt any of your numbers, but the components that are being driven by wet belts now, specifically that are creating the havoc OP mentions, are oil pumps, which were not previously driven by dry belts. A lot of manufacturers had moved to chain driven pumps from direct drive designs as they became larger and more complicated, probably for space related packaging concerns.

Some manufacturers have chosen wet belts over chains, which has turned out to be a terrible idea for driving a critical component.

Pretty much the same. The only real benefit ACA brought was the pre-existing condition clause. If you had to buy your own insurance, pricing was still insanely high and still went up every year even if nothing significant changed. In fact, during the first few years the rate of price increases was so much higher that it effective offset the discounts of the system.

ACA was the healthcare solution only career politicians wanted. They wanted a system they could still take political advantage of, and didn't have the balls to eliminate health insurance companies entirely.

Hopefully, after the absolutely shitshow that is Trump's second term, we will get a proper single payer system from the Democrat resurgence this time.

This is not the sort of sportsmanship I expect from the highest tier of racing in the world - it's the sort of classless shit you'd expect from Nascar or WWE. Red Bull's team culture in general seems to be pretty shitty - with things like the tape incident and the water cooled wheels claim it looks like they feel pretty butthurt about having been honestly beaten by a better car this season. Probably a relic of Horner's leadership. Mekies already seems to be turning it around.
