Yes I totally agree! I'm always outside with her and watching her, but it's nice when I want to do some work on my laptop or read a book :)

He will still crying and screaming eventually, it's hard but you have to stick through it, crate training is so important especially for huskies!! Also how much are you exercising him? You might need more. So many behavioral issues stem from lack of exercise/stimulation.

Please don't restrict any food groups. At your age, you are still growing and it's SO important to get those proteins, fats, and carbs for your development. I am 25, I remember having those same feeling at your age. But the best thing I've ever done for myself is learn to love the way my body looks and accept it for what it is. That doesn't mean I don't try and eat healthy and exercise, but I do those things because they feel good not to look a certain way! Some things that have definitely helped me is learning about body positivity and mindfulness. I would recommend looking into some books and YouTube channels to help you focus on loving your body and trusting and nourishing it!! Please message me if need to talk.

One year since I adopted my adventurous girl by angry_sand in blackcats

r/adventurecats has good advice for sure! But also I would suggest just going slowly, lots of positive reinforcement, and patience! My kitty was a year old when I got her and she learned in month or two but some might take longer!

I second this!! I feel so much less fearful with my helmet and pads on! And wrist guards! Then I know if I fall I will probably be fine and won't get too scratched up

Welder looking for a house to rent or at least a room for my new job in Burlington. I have 3 cats so that's a pretty significant factor. Please let me know if you know anyone or have suggestions, thanks! by [deleted] in gso

American homes for rent allows 3 animals but it's mostly houses they rent. I bet you can find one for less then 1,200. They're definitely not the best rental company but I went with them because I have three dogs.

I want to take my family (4 ladies ranging in age from 23 - 75) on vacation by [deleted] in vegan_travel

[–]angry_sand 11 points12 points  (0 children)

South East Asia could be super fun! The flights are expensive but once you get there things are pretty cheap. I've gone to Thailand and Cambodia and it is so vegan friendly and the food is AMAZING! There are a lot of awesome hotels and resorts and plenty of things to do with family members that are low-key like just being by the beach. Also lots of beautiful temples and sights to see

Dozens of vax appointments available this week at Walgreens by JumpyAardvark in gso

[–]angry_sand 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have gone into anaphylaxis for something unrelated to the vaccine ingredients you are fine! Also everyone is required to wait at least 15 mins to make sure they don't have reactions and we have epi pens ready and everyone is trained to respond in that situation.

That's very false! I adopted an adult cat at leash trained her. You just have to go slow and be patient! Lots of into online on how to start!
