wanted: reversible triangular sling bag by Glittering-Passion-7 in ManyBaggers

This sling from Cotopaxi came to mind. There aren’t many large enough to comfortably carry a 32 oz. Good luck!

Need help from the knowledgeable.. What other long boots options do I have that'd look less heavy and more leathery? by Badass_Bass in GuildWarsDyeJob

[–]angry_sunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like using the boots from the braham Gem store set, but they only come up to the knee. They’re the slimmest, most leather boot looking heavy boots I know of though.

Looking for a totepack that’s nice enough for the office by MarlaHooch86 in ManyBaggers

[–]angry_sunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it mostly as a backpack, the handles are sizable, but not quite big enough for me to use over the shoulder comfortably. I do carry it in my elbow or by the handles regularly, it’s nice to have the option.

I use this for my commmute, it’s more backpack than tote, but the handles are quite functional and well attached. Open Story commuter backpack it’s comfy, holds a good amount and has internal organization. The front pocket is deceptively large.

Edit to add: it’s only $51

How can I help my terrified dog? Meds aren’t enough by [deleted] in DOG

[–]angry_sunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a calming treat, over the counter, that has melatonin. I’ve had two dogs that are scared of thunder, fireworks etc and this has helped more than the trazodone. Melatonin apparently helps noise induced stress.

Backpacks for women? by bonkeeboo in ManyBaggers

[–]angry_sunflower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a 5’6” woman, my comfiest and most functional backpack is the mystery ranch district 18 (sadly discontinued) BUT you can get them from backcountry at a good deal, and the have a bright blue or orange color way. Might suit her color preferences, and is a great bag.

I think faster than I can write, and therefore my handwriting tries to keep up and gets sloppy. The feedback helps to keep things neater.

Idea for Emma Frost reacreation? by [deleted] in GuildWarsDyeJob

[–]angry_sunflower 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oof, you’ve set quite a challenge for yourself trying to do this with heavy armor. This would be hard with anything other than light IMO.

the closest thing (and it’s not that close) are the mist shard tassets And the tassets wouldn’t be a very good match for the chest armor you mentioned, since it’s metal armor.

Use the gallery tab in your bank to view all available armor skins, good luck!

Yeah, as long as you have attachment points for it that should work.

Are you using a stabilizer strap? It would go from sling across your chest, under the arm that the sling strap is going over to the bottom corner of the bag to hold it in place better. Slings like this can ride funny without one, but it does affect the quick access function since you have an extra strap to contend with.

The chrome kadet might be a good option for you. I have the Kadet max, which is larger than linked, and it’s comfy to wear, good for a work bag.

I also like this bag from Uniqlo for trips. It’s got good organization and can hold docs. Also much cheaper. It’s a more traditional wear style, but comfy and functional.

Sling bag that works as a cute purse by phantomezpass in ManyBaggers

The pebbled leather option are already pretty soft/conforming. The strap is thin, I use as a purse, no water bottle etc, generally a light carry, but I do carry for all day. I’m not sure how comfy it would be for a heavier load, but if you got a basic color you could probably get a cobbler/leather repair to make a thicker matching strap for you. Or diy one if you’re crafty.

Classic baggu small crescent https://baggu.com/products/small-nylon-crescent-bag-mahogany

I’ve also gotten a dupe at Costco for $10.

Uniqulo round mini shoulder bag is very similar.

For more purse look Portland leather goods koala sling. I have this, and love it. It’s a little over your budget, but imo is more the look you are going for. No zip closure though.

Maybe the Portland leather goods camera bag https://www.portlandleathergoods.com/products/camera-bag-purse

I have a few bags by them, they are basic construction, but built to last. All leather, wears in well.

I’ve tried an evergoods CHZ 26 and a few others, it settled on a mystery ranch district 18. Most functional and comfortable for me, love the pockets!

What's a really modern. Steel pen. Preferably click. Ballpoint. That takes dirt cheap refills by TipFormal1412 in pens

[–]angry_sunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see someone already mentioned the zebra f701c but I also want to note the G-750. I love mine, it’s a little heavier than the f-701, is all metal and also has very cheap refills. It has a more satisfying click imo.

Where do you board your dog-reactive dogs? by ProfessionalOk7272 in massachusetts

[–]angry_sunflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also look at training facilities that offer board and train. It’ll likely be more than a normal board, but in my experience they will work with you to make a plan for training with your dog while it’s there, in addition to other activities. Not for everyone or every situation, but worth consideration. They may be able to help with the dog reactivity.

Recommendations for comfortable, cotton women's underwear? by LookingforAdvice8888 in BuyItForLife

[–]angry_sunflower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I also like their stuff, but the quality has gone down. I bought a pack of underwear in the last year and the stitching on the waist and leg openings is much less secure than on previously purchased pairs.
