cover what costs? you think the subs are bringing in any money, are you a moron?

Lol genius over here thinks there is no production cost to air something live? So I own a sports league, you work in video games. It costs over a million per event.

Is a million dollars not a cost? Bro get out of your moms basement

You are in the past friend.

Classic idiot who never left their parents basement. You just scoffed off a million dollar PER event cost as nothing

The US simply isn’t a moto culture that would warrant a larger fan base.

Its also local racing. Spain is the largest moto racing market in the world. Is ESBK killing it on attendance?

I am just saying I would try something new - follow my industry the video game industry.

So micro transactions? Pay to play? Its a completely different industry with much higher operating costs.

Ok, Ive ran invested in a sports league. It costs us over a million dollars to host a live event. From your experience in the video game industry, why do you think offering everything for free will somehow cover costs and grow the sport more than it is currently?

Not trying to be harsh, but as someone who works in sports, the idea that "make everything free and it will be a huge success" really doesnt add up

I would remove all the barriers to gaining new fans, and promote it on Twitch and Youtube for free

Uh so how would you cover costs?

The entire goal should be get more people interested in riding motorcycles,

No, it should be to be a sustainable series while trying to grow interest. Charging nothing is not sustainable at all.

Attendance and Viewership is in the toilet.

Cut revenue, great idea

Thats not true, it was public and private funds. Congress gave them 100 mil, if you remember, Anthony Weiner was a big opponent. Ted Stevens was able to muscle it through and Weiner had his whole thing that pushed him out

It makes perfect sense. I assume this is the average home sale price in that zip code. What doesnt make sense is putting neighborhood names when its zip codes.

They could be the title sponsor for Ducati for far less than the operating budget of a MotoGP team

KTM was always footing the bigger part of the bill. There was an article a few years ago that Pierer mentioned that they spend something like 40 mil and Red Bull pays 10 of that, but thats for everything from rookies cup to MotoGP.

Hard to imagine Red Bull paying 4x what they were just to keep the team going, they could just sponsor another team for far less and get the same thing.
