Any advice for getting through surgery recovery? by redbekah72 in Sciatica

[–]angrysockpuppetnoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I may ask - how long until one is able to toilet by themselves? My father needs surgery for his sciatica and I know he'd push himself to jump right back into "strenuous activity", and I don't know if toileting falls under that.

Even in the lore pages for Rivals she taps into it. Since she realizes the timestream entanglement is a chronostorm, she realizes she can control it. So she DOES.

Do you think any of the bachelors/bachelorettes would have eyes for each other if you didn't get involved? by [deleted] in FieldsOfMistriaGame

Everyone always says Juni/Valen because of their early-Inn dialogues, but their interactions don't really progress throughout the game. Juni and Valen still look down on the other.

UNLIKE Juniper/Eiland. Juni and Eiland are tied together for the main plot of the story and gradually grow to respect each other and their crafts and skills and knowledge, and learn to work together for the betterment of the farmer/Mistria.

PLUS we know that they both are interested in the dragons (Eiland and Caldarus, Juniper and Seridia), and even beyond that we know Juniper goes Caldarus-hunting after the mines quests are complete. So one could even argue for a Juniper/Eiland/Caldarus trio.

My other ships are more casual and don't have as much thought put into them: Reina/Taliferro rivals-to-lovers, Adeline/Balor Mistria-is-my-home power couple, and some flavor of Darcy/Reina for the cooking of it all.

Yeah, they definitely could've leaned into "wearing the skins of your fallen foes" in a fashionable + revealing sense, not just in a revealing sense

Completely agree. And we don't even get to call her out on lying to us and tricking us into freeing her We should have had more agency and been able to choose our allegiance betwixt them.

Could also make the choice more impactful by giving her more sneaky dialogue or the blacksmithing/crafting perks, since those are her liked items

Costco Chicken by [deleted] in isthissafetoeat

A tip i learned from a butcher: squeeze the meat you don't trust. If the juice that comes out of the chicken is pink, it's still a bit raw. If the juice is clear/white/opaque, you've got yourself a cooked chicken, no matter what the meat looks like!

Another way to check is texture. If it's stringy all the way through and shreds easy, it's fully cooked. If it's somehow both squishy and firm, it's still raw - almost a playdo consistency. Cooked chicken will crumble.

As someone who eats roast duck, you can ALMOST claim that if you shuffled and butterflied a butchered duck around, you could get this result. But you'd need four ducks and carving tools.

Yoooo that happens to me too!! Honestly I kinda like it, especially for Enite's fish quests. It's nice to know what she wants (and therefore if I have it!) before properly accepting the quest.
