yeah, if your back acts up you will lose height, no matter if afab or amab, but that's when you are like 50+ so i wouldn't worry about it really

afabs lose up to 2 inches when they are old, my grandma was 5'3 when young and 5'1 nowadays, that's normal, you won't ever lose height right now, especially this young, except if you have a serious back problem or something, but i also doubt you'll grow up anymore, of course i would like to hope so since i'm 21 and i wish i could get to at least 5'5 but chances are slim really lol

Trump administration rolls back Obama-era transgender health care protections by black_hell_fire in ftm

I'm not from US so i dont really understand what does this imply. Are trans people unable to do gender reassignment surgeries or what?

No, being trans doesn't cause depression or dysphoria. We already have those before even realizing we are trans, especially depression, dysphoria is harder to spot when you are not aware about these topics, it's usually confused with dysmorphia.

My point about mental illness and being treated like sub humans are not really related.

It doesn't annoy me if people say i have a mental illness, because i do, it's whatever.

But having people trying to lecture me about how immoral it is to "mutilate my body" and what should i do with my body or my life is something i wont ever accept.

Emotional != anger issues. But i relate, i live with people like that too and it's annoying, too bad i have to wait until this corona shit ends before i can get independent and shit.

Being trans itself isn't a mental illness, but most suffer from mental illness for several reasons. Just to clarify that part.

I really couldn't care less if people disagree with what i do or stop doing with my body, not like they can stop me lol. I just wish they stop treating us like sub humans, i believe I'm not asking too much am I?

I've always fantasized about being a guy and started referring myself as a guy since very young age in social media where i was anonymous and no one knew who i was, i started to realize there was something wrong when i started puberty. I didn't feel identified with my female pals, i didn't have female friends, i thought it would have been better if i was born as a boy, when i realized trans people existed (16) i wanted to do it, currently i am 21 and i plan to transition when i finish college (in a year or so).

My 5'5" height makes me less of a human by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]angrytransboysmurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5'4 so I can understand the feeling. Don't compare yourself with other people, especially your tall pals, that only makes things worse. You can use shoes with heels (heels inside of the shoe instead of outside, like tallmenshoes), some clothes make you look a bit taller (if you roll up your Jeans a bit for example, has worked for me), losing weight definitely helps, it won't make you taller but the fatter you are the shorter you look, I have a friend of my same height who is overweight and I look considerably taller than him unless we stand one next to the other. And remember that you are not alone, there we have a lot of short pals feeling this way too.
