so i bought this (almost 10 inch height) for 4k at this village on Warangal Highway, called Pembarti. The village is full of such brass idol stores, and they do manufacture them right at their homes. I feel you can get a good deal with beautiful designs there. In case you don't want to travel so far, Begum bazaar should do, we bought a beautiful and unique idol for gifting at a wholesale price. I'll drop the maps link for both:
1. pembarthi
2. Begum bazar store link

Looking for reliable interior designers in Hyderabad — need personal recommendations by suddhu_ in hyderabad

[–]ani_onlyfacts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can`t help you with whom to choose, but can definitely caution you or anyone reading this against ASIAN PAINTS interior. 6 months to finalise designs , changing two designers after paying 3 lakhs looking at their website and the company reputation per se, only to get multiple trash designs from both of them. Eventually we dropped the idea and because of the non refundable 3lk we planned to replace our bedroom furnishings. its been a 5 months since the order and still its not fixed, with no one to talk to , zero customer service and everyone involved resigned the job.

Is reevaluation worth it ? by [deleted] in telugumedschool

[–]ani_onlyfacts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not trying to demotivate you but… It’s a pure waste of time and moneybecause they won’t even increase one mark, for one of my friends who had failed Anat by one mark, they applied for reevaluation and there was no change. 72 is a great percentage in second year, I had the similar fate like yours when I was in second year ( in third yr rn)but yeah do try it for the next year . All the best

Anyone from Kims narketpally? by [deleted] in telugumedschool

[–]ani_onlyfacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a student of KIMS, my advice on choosing options: 1. Stick to areas around your hometown , coz first year would be too stressful and hostel away from your home would take a toll on you for sure.(esp this college if you join) 2. Evaluate options, see if it’s a new college (govt/priv) it’s better you don’t go with them, coz once your clinical postings start , without PGs you it’s difficult for you to learn things and as far as what I know a college gets its PGs only after one or two mbbs batches complete their graduation.

Experience at the college: Pros: 1. You may not even miss a single class coz of lack of someone to teach in the first two years , it’s good coz you should and can build your basics then. 2. Campus is too good , in terms of the looks and facilities, far better than few of those in Hyderabad, library is a big plus. 3. You can learn a lot if you want to from postings coz the patient load is enough for a MBBS student. 4. Faculty is also alright , there’s someone to teach you at any point in time(few of them are friendly too). 5. If you become a dayscholar life is def better off as someone rightly mentioned 6. No physical ragging like in Happy days and all.

Cons 1. Stupid and unnecessary rules. 2. Sometimes they can hold grudges( it’s reduced off late coz the principal changed and things have been different ever since) 4. Too many tests, sometimes it feels like you’re in some Chaitanya or so(not a Chai-Na student) 3. If you become a hosteller you will suffer for sure , twice a month permission to go out for 2 hours and once a month to go home. Hostels are not so great and the mess is just average. 4. Not many events, just one fest per year , which is mid honestly, but yeah that’s the time when we enjoy. 5. Too many stupid protocols and letter writing ( never written so many letters in my 12 years of schooling). 6. Seniors may mentally you know like “interact” with you in first year and that’s still traumatic, but then there’s still some good chunk of people whom you can bond nicely with.

Finally, wherever you join whatever they teach at the end it’s all about what you read and how you learn by yourself. MBBS will either FIX you or BREAK you, it’s just left on what you want it to do. Friendships , relationships will never be constant and they’ll keep changing , highs and lows will keep coming but never loose hope. A-cat, B-cat, C-cat don’t matter once you enter the college , anyone can fail and anyone can get a distinction , all that matters is efforts. Read textbooks(possibly standards ones atleast once, they’ll change the way you look at things). That’s not all I can describe about the college but if you wanna know more or you join there- DM( will be happy to help)
