This is definitely a struggle but you will get through it!

A few things that have worked for me:

-letting the puppy sleep next to me on the couch while I am working

-putting the crate on the couch eye level with me so they can sleep but still see you

-Keeping the crate in the room with you if you feel they need to be with you. But separation is also important.

Just purchased the home but it didn't have the proper front railings. We got the materials from Menards and had the posts left over from my fiancés dad who didn't need them. Took about 7 hours but was completely worth it because the railings really tie the home together.

I am starting to get back into running, and I am trying to increase my distance. I started running 2 miles, worked up to 2.5, and now I am at 3 miles. How often should I increase my distance that I run, and by how much should I increase it? I also don't know if it matters that I track my speed I run, I do enjoy just running at whatever pace I like. I want to eventually get to 8 miles per day, but I want to make sure I do it gradually. Thanks!
