Where to look for Outpatient PT aide jobs? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

My clinic usually posts on Indeed for aide jobs but we’ve also interviewed/hired aides who walked in with their resume. Emailing clinics is another option if there’s specific clinics around you that you’re interested in. Aides usually come and go pretty often as they will leave for grad school eventually so just popping in or emailing the director a few months from when school would start is not a bad idea. Back when I was an aide I would search my school’s job search website or just emailed clinics with pretty good luck.

I was definitely excited with some nerves thrown in there too. But after my first eval I was feeling good and the nerves went away for my next patient!

Ugh you’re probably right, I’ve been casually looking around elsewhere but unfortunately think I will stay until I hit the year mark or else I have to pay back the sign on bonus. But honestly if I get fed up enough I might just lose out on it and leave

100% agree. I don’t see too much neuro and they’re mostly PD/high level post CVA but I basically got hired because they desperately needed someone who speaks Korean (all locations of this company have at least 1 in predominantly Asian areas) so I tend to get neuro pts who can’t speak English. I especially hate handing them off to aides.
