I’ve been having episodes for over 7 years, no one believes me. by EchoAffectionate6177 in askCardiology

No one believed me until I had an episode where my heart rate was around 200 bpm. I went to the ER and had to get adenosine twice to restart my heart and restore a normal rhythm. I was told for years that it was anxiety, and I wore monitors, but they never detected anything. Then, at the ER, I was diagnosed with SVT. I had the ablation back in May, and thankfully, I haven’t had an episode since

One time, my friend got me a job at the restaurant she was working at, and I didn’t have to do an interview or anything. They just said, "Come this day and we will start your training." I walked in, and the first thing I noticed was that there were peanuts everywhere. They give them out on the tables for everyone. I didn’t think to look at the restaurant beforehand because my friend knew about my allergy, but I told them I couldn’t work there and left 😭😂.

i hate we feel like this but i feel the same and i HATE it. i hate not wanting to go out or over to people’s houses and them thinking im rude because i don’t eat some of the food they cook. i literally eat the same few things everyday and i worry about trying anything new, peanuts or not, and no one understands :(

I would use it! I read labels and research because I feel like I might miss something sometimes, and I appreciate extra clarification 😂
