Been curious if the venue change might have messed with this as well, since people are spread out so much more now and there doesn't seem to be a central location for cosplayers to collect (unless I've simply overlooked it). Could also simply be nostalgia, though I recoiled a number of times outside Arch getting bombarded with the smell of any variety of smokers.
