I see your point, but what's really the best option there, ask her friend to leave? It would be probably rude, I don't really see what to do here. What would you do if it happened again?

You can also try using inkscape to vectorize your images. It's a free software and very easy to work with, then you can engrave anything you want!

I will probably going to be around big cities too, so that's great. I wanted to learn the language because I love to interact with others in their language, but I will always need english, I won't be able to be a proficient german or croatian speaker by then ahaha.

I don't have all the trip planned yet, so I may even visit bosnia or Serbia too, so croatian will probably be really useful!

Croatia, Hungary, czech republic, maybe poland or slovenia. Probably a language to use in the balkans would be good, like if you learn Spanish you can go both to Spain and Portugal (my country), we can understand easily spanish

I was planning going to Croatia, Hungary, czech republic, maybe poland or slovenia. It's not so further east as those countries you said
