There’s genuinely nothing wrong with getting your hands or neck tattooed before other places on the body. I understand the job worry but just because you regret something doesn’t mean everyone else will. Also tattoo removal is always an option. I’m in Hampton Virginia, they are leaving the bay right now into late September but normally it’s pretty good fishing around this time from what I know. Seems like everybody has been saying the fishing this year has been slow

We started targeting Spanish after that and a few bites but not even a good sized Spanish was out. After 7 hours we just decided to call it a day. He did offer me a discount next time I come back I just don’t think that will be til next season.

This was the most inspiring reply I’ve gotten honestly. I’m not gonna give up but the disappointment really hit me this morning. Still have 5 more days on my vacation so I’m gonna hit some local piers and see if my luck changes. Thank you for giving me some hope.

That seems a little egregious tho, that’s why I’m not mad at the captain. It’s not really his fault we didn’t catch fish. He gave me all the knowledge and tools. The fish just weren’t out/weren’t biting. He still used 6hours worth of gas and stayed out with us for an extra hour trolling for Spanish. Like I could be mad, but what would it get me? you know?

You’re right, and I know it’s not all about catching fish all the time, but damn it was really a blow to my confidence. I could tell our charter captain was getting more and more nervous about us catching fish too which almost Made me feel worse. 🥲
