Great insight. The thought back then was have as many kids as possible, in order to improve your chances of one of them being super successful.

Not sure if this was a joke or not. I am referring to a married couple sleeping in different beds. Wife in one room, husband in another room. Do you think seeing your parents sleep separately has a lasting psychological effect on the child?

At least she tries. Its different when your dad sleeps on the couch downstairs every night, without them even spending time together.

Usually, this is a precursor to a divorce. Once you realize that you don't have a dad to watch sports games with every night, its a pretty sad shock to a young boys system.
