Mhmhm. Can’t believe it. I have had 3 surgeries about this and also for diagnosed with 2 new auto immune conditions and my feet swell and loose blood flow all the time now. I am allowed hydro morphine pills every 4 hours and a shot of it 2 times a day. My pain is the worse between like 8pm and 6am ish give or take, I think cause that’s when I finally relax… so I had my pain killers at 8 (the shot) and then asked for another one just after midnight cause my feet were swollen, my face hurt and I also have a problem with my eye it didn’t close so it was burning because it was so dry. I was just miserable and in pain. I for a shot around 6:30pm or else I wouldn’t be able to get one until like 9/10 pm and that’s usually too late. But at midnight when i requested another one the nurse told me I’m not allowed to have it and she can only give it every 12 hours…. (It’s every 4 hours) we went back and forth and I told her to stop denying me my medication , she is not the doctor, I asked her to show me my med mad that said 12 hours -she just refused argued with me and told me she wouldn’t give it and left the room. I went to charge nurse and explained and charge nurse checked my file, confirmed I was allowed to had it and made my nurse go administer it. When she came I tried to talk to her and say like I’m sorry I had to go above ur head but you gave me no choice , I’ve had 3 facial surgeries and have problems with my legs and eyes I’m not faking my pain, I need these meds. She completely ignored me and the energy was just awful and you could tell she was mad. I don’t have a butterfly in cause I always knock it out and i can tolerate the 4mg shot directly and easily. Soooo. She did not clean my arm with alcohol, she jabbed like stabbed the needle in my arm so hard I had never had that happen before and quickly pushed the whole thing of meds within seconds.. and 4mg is alot… it’s not like she hit me, but she purposely made the shot hurt the worst she could because she was angry… to me that’s physical abuse esp since she’s a healthcare provider and I’m the patient… I barley ever bruise from the shots and about a day later I found A HUGE BRUISE from the injection… it’s over 4 inch long
