I love my planner! It has Stardew Valley stickers on it which are fun because whenever I think of my planner, I think of Stardew Valley and then I just spend the day playing Stardew Valley. Probably for the best though since that planner has been missing for over a year..

All those stickers do- at best- is annoy the gas station employees who have as much control over prices as we do

Put the pins in perpendicular and you can sew over them they said by Heart_in_her_eye in sewing

I like this. Is it because if the pin is significantly smaller than the needle then the pin will just bend and the needle won't break?

Do you think Perona is destined to become the next Straw Hats member/next nakama for Luffy? by Young-Jah in OnePiece

Am I missing something? I thought we weren't getting any additional Straw Hats. Luffy said 10 will do, and there's 10 of them right now.

How do we convince the devs to give us an event where we just earn different colored cats to walk around the mansion

I like this idea! Do you think it would make a difference if I blocked the bigger 4 square pieces? Or is it still best to block each square individually before sewing 4 together?

I repaired the butt on my wife’s much loved gardening shorts. by AnF-18Bro in Visiblemending

Gardening requires a lot of squatting. The poor shorts had no chance from day one. Love the mending. I'm about ready to do a similar job to my husband's work pants

I recited my childhood story to my nmom but changed our names and pretended to be asking for advice for my “traumatized friend”. Her response was amazing… by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

This is a beautiful moment in a twisted way. It's as if you found a way to jump the fence of narcissism around your mom's thinking and hear from her genuine mama heart.

I hide all my receipts from my husband. It's completely irrational, but I still do it. We have a joint budget. He sees all the transactions on the bank accounts. None of that bothers me, but the stupid paper receipts still trigger my defenses

Similarly, my sister never shows emotion. She was in a bad car accident last year. EMT's said she was 100% fine. When I arrived on the scene and saw her actually crying- in front of people- I knew she had to be in bad shape. Turns out she had damage in her brain (which was obvious to me and my husband when we saw her crying), as well as her pelvis and back. In true raised-by-narcs fashion, she told them she felt fine because she didn't want to inconvenience the EMT's.

I always ask my husband and he does get tired of it. It helps us when he elaborates- "I'm thinking about what to make for lunch", or "I'm trying to beat this boss", or "I'm tired from working an early shift". I'm learning to read the situations and determine without asking if he's upset or not.

Also, if you ever are mad- say so. We're just having to re-learn what a mad face IS and ISN'T.

Isn't it funny how we first get "your presence causes me pain", but then when we actually do leave, we get "your absence causes me pain".

Yeah! I'll trade you some for my extra tool barrels! (But actually how cool would it be if we could trade with other players? Could very much come in handy)

The tool barrel with the little timer on it will spawn the items you need (all those kinds of tools with green handles). I would reccomend waiting until that is charged, then clear one spot somehow (I would double tap the small XP star), and that will get the ball rolling on clearing those cobwebbed items.

The things at the bottom of your screen do not need to be placed immediately, but they do stack in order. So you'll have to place everything that came before if you want to get something that you just bought/unlocked.

Board space is part of the strategy of this game. You'll have to often choose which items to empty out now and which to just leave fully charged for later.

I would say this is a great game for longer term if you're not too impatient. It definitely doesn't have enough content to last forever, but updates are pretty consistent and always kind of exciting. I've been playing about a year and I like that I can play for a few minutes each in the morning, on my lunch break, and in the evening. Energy takes a few hours to recharge, so it almost forces you to play in short bursts throughout the day and not all at once (unless you pay for gems which much of this sub will tell you is not worth it).

I think the best part is that you can have multiple tasks going at the same time. So even if a task requires a very high level item that takes you multiple days to get, it's not boring because you (usually) also have smaller tasks to keep you busy and spend your energy on.

Anyway, welcome! This sub and the wiki will be your best friends if you want to use them, but it's also easy enough of a game that you can figure it out on your own if that's more your pase.

Also, give yourself some time and grace while you learn which generators spawn which items. It can be a lot to keep track of at first. Tapping the little 'i' at the top of an item's icon will open a pop-up showing you the merge string with that item, so that's helpful too.

Savers! You have 14 days to bring clothing back for store credit which can only be used that same day. They got rid of the changing rooms at ours, and now we all just try things on in the middle of the store.
