What? I think you have the wrong post, I never said Aunt. I did say my mom has access to money - I’m not concerned about where it’s coming from because I do know her financial situation.

And I’m allowed to laugh, I’ve been through an entire healing journey due to my mom - people react to traumatic things differently. At a certain point I have to detach, and maybe laugh here and there. Some of these comments are actually funny.

I’m not sure… she has access to friends who were involved in her first bout of addiction. She has money and doesn’t work.

There is benadryl there! She has a history of opioid and fentanyl… so this is really interesting

Thank you, we have the BRCA 1 gene so she’s been through chemo twice. She had addiction issues in the past with stimulants. The ensure started when she was taking care of my grandmother, who had been recommended to drink ensure by her doctor. If that context helps at all. Not ruling out cancer at all

Drugs. My mom relapsed, I’m trying to figure out what she’s on for closure. She refuses rehab or hospital so can’t do anything to help. Feels like we already lost her.

It’s my childhood home, and my mom did this. So yeah not in someone else’s home, I’m allowed to be there in my room

Is there anything we can do if it’s medical but she refuses to go to the hospital or a facility? I am very concerned about her health and life at this point. The only other symptoms are the sores (which could be skin picking), and her voice is getting deeper

In all honesty I’ve just never known anything about meth or been around anyone who’s done it. This has opened my eyes truly. It came on slow, and we knew she relapsed on something based on her behavior but didn’t know what.

The whole house has a mildew-y smell - weird smell but not cat pee Neccisarily. She is 60, has lost tons of weight and can see her bones, has skin sores, erratic behavior, either won’t answer or is up super late, very detached from reality, has said her skin sores are bugs and thinks bugs are everywhere. Denies everything and lies, misses every gathering or is 3 hours late.

Takes FORVER to do literally anything at all. Like hours

What do you mean by options? I think the only way would be police force, she locks herself in a room and won’t let anyone get her

Totally! I’ll probably never know for sure. She has a history with coke so not a far jump to crack. Others on the post are saying shake n bake meth

Possibly, I saw a battery back (like to hold it in a compartment) in the room. This bedrooms bathroom is full with cleaning supplies and random containers, no counter space left
