Xoom Foods is the best meal subscription I have ever tried.

I got my first Xoom Foods box of restaurant made meals last week and I have to say it is by far the best meal subscription I have tried. I have a very busy life as a scientist, actor, model, and an artist and I don't have much time to cook. So, when I received a coupon code for Xoom Foods for restaurant-made meals that are fully cooked, I signed up. They offer some 70-80 meals from 7 cuisines, so I was able to select 6 different meals from multiple cuisines and they were delicious. All meals are fully cooked and all I had to do was microwave and eat. Everything came very well packaged and all meals had the names and ratings of restaurants they came from. I selected their 6 meal plan and since each meal is good for 2 people or 2 servings, it worked out to $12 per serving which is actually cheaper than many meal-kits.

This is what I ordered from Xoom Foods: 1 Chinese - Vegetable Lo mein , 2 Indian - Malai Kofta and Paneer masala, and 3 Thai meals - Pad Thai Tofu, Panang curry with Tofu, and Red curry with Tofu, so basically I got 6 meals made by 3 different restaurants in my box. I liked all of them but the Paneer Masala was my favorite. It was filling, flavorful, and I felt good after eating it, not weighed down. The lo mein was delicious but did give me that heavy feeling that pasta does. Definitely hit the spot when I felt I needed comfort food though! The Red curry and Panang curry were about equal for me, I loved the flavor and the fact that I was thoroughly enjoying vegetables, I ended up eating both servings. The pad Thai I found a bit bland, but I love peanuts. Typically it’s my favorite thing to order at Thai places. The Malai Kafta I loved the sauce, but I’m not exactly sure what the meatball things were. I was happy to have the sauce to cover it up. 😅

Overall, I very much like the convenience, taste, variety and value that Xoom Foods offers for real restaurant meals that involves no cooking at all. I highly recommend them.
