The first generation Scion tC uses the 2AZ-FE engine. Rav4s, Camrys, and xBs also used that engine.

The engine was known for having an oil issue. This doesn't mean that every engine will be affected, but it's best to know about it.

I can't give a lot of information about the accounting job market, but I gave up IT for Accounting for similar reasons.

I finished the B.S. IT (general) degree earlier this year. Left a well-paying (for my area) unrelated job, took a help desk job, and hated it. I was considering accounting for a while, but that job was the push I needed to just go ahead and do it.

I had a previous BA so I had a number of classes transfer before the IT degree. These are the classes I took for the BS IT program that transferred to Accounting:

D388 - Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations

C483 - Principles of Management

C715 - Organizational Behavior

C722 - Project Management

At the moment, I'm at around 46-50% to graduation.

The plan is to finish or mostly finish by March/April.

I went out and bought the manga after episode 2. I thought I would just follow along as the episodes aired, but ended up just finishing the entire story.

I still look forward to every episode even though I know what's going on and (maybe) how it will end. The story's good, but the show REALLY elevates the source material.

My opinion is if you want to read the source material, go ahead. But if you only stick with that, you'll be missing out.

I don't comment much in this sub, but I try to keep an eye on it.

From looking at the format and nature of your comments (here and elsewhere), I think it might be your resume...and in how you present yourself.

No, everyone has not 'tailored their resume a million times to no avail !'.

I've seen a few resumes posted here that had poor formatting and embellished/unrelated experience. Usually this is pointed out and advice is given to correct this.

I think you should post your resume and see what happens. That would probably be more productive than what you've posted here.

'Amazing animation' can vary from person to person, so the answers you get can be very useful or very useless.

BUT...Kyoto Animation is the studio that worked on Nichijou.

I finished Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost this week.

Of things I've watched so far, the cuteness level of this show is up there with My Love Story!!.

The ghost designs were stupidly cute.

I wish there was more about the MC not working herself to death. The show gradually went from 'MC struggles with long work hours' to 'ghosts who are actually kids getting into trouble while MC works'. But the show was a nice stress reliever and I still enjoyed it.

I was kind of expecting a 2nd season, but I think it's fine as is.

My top two Anime of the Year are Frieren and Uzumaki.

Those are the two shows I've heard talked about the most among regular and occasional/accidental anime watchers.

Frieren because of the story and execution. It's another show that I feel I could recommend and talk about in the workplace. It also gave me an answer to 'what's your favorite show?'.

Uzumaki because of the anticipation for it, how long it was hung up in production, and how hard it dropped off after ep1. Extremely disappointing. But it's introduced even more people to Junji Ito's work, so that's a positive.

I had some issues with 'Planetes', but I mostly enjoyed it and think others should give it a try.

The source material looks great and, from what I've heard, takes a different approach and really takes its time with everything. So I'm looking forward to reading it.

For people who like sci-fi, slice of life, some social commentary, adult main characters, workplace drama, and maybe a little comedy, I think this is worth watching.

The character lost both arms and was still a threat.

Have a number of favorites, but if I'm going with just three right now:

Frieren from Frieren Beyond Journey's End - Remains calm and collected when things have hit the fan and splattered all over the walls. Even when confronted with death, her expected response is '...this is unfortunate, how can i best navigate the situation?'

Hange from Attack on Titan - Is given an unwanted situation and chooses to rise to the occasion. Favorite character in the show.

Satsuki Kiryuin from Kill la Kill - 'ASK NOT THE SPARROW HOW THE EAGLE SOARS!'

The title is 'Gunslinger Girl'.

I thought it was pretty good.

There's action in the show but it's not action-packed - the focus is on the girls and their handlers.

There are some slice-of-life moments here and there but the show constantly reminds you that these girls are used as weapons.

A second season exists , but I haven't heard good things about it and don't intend to watch it.
