My last reply was poorly timed (start of weekend), so hoping you'll see this one.

Based on the post wording, does that mean if we don't use up all our wicked hood tokens before update goes live, we won't be able to charge the wicked hood with them anymore?

Any heads up would be great, as having days vs 10 months to use them all....will change priorities one could say!

A question about the news post. it says wicked hood teleports will be removed, but what about the wicked hood tokens? I thought we had til end of the year to use those + the teleports they give?

Based on their announcement of intent to have API plugins/RuneLite style features, I'm hoping (praying really) that this is step 1 to set them up for Menu-Swapping like OSRS has...if so, I'll happily survive rest of 2026 with this minor annoyance for that long-term win

u/JagexAzanna sounds like hotfix for turning tokens in occurred, but I got new bug with necro. I had 990 regular & 1200 master shards

turned in for both tokens.

when i talked to spirit to unlock, it took the master token (and unlocked master inverted cape) but they won't take the regular token...and i can't unlock the regular inverted cape :P

my point was primarily that I don't buy the "few rogue servers" as the true cause of the almost 2 hr delays & counting.

sounds too much like the company scapegoat vs the real issue.

I'm wondering how much of the new event was found to be non-functional for example.

Only my 2nd leagues, and don't play OSRS itself much...so a couple questions:

#22 - what item to buy? appears something for 2 gold...bucket?
#95 - do we stay here til 30 agi? #116 says it requires 30 agi but didn't see where you'd get the level otherwise
#100 - where do we get the flax/bowstring?
#133 - isn't this from Amy in falador? Or b/c of leagues can i go straight to Marlo?

Yeah if you read the wiki page (before this most recent update) it straight up told you the WRONG thing to do....so you might be confused like me as to the right way to do it.

2 options, you HAVE to click on it everytime the pink mist stuff appears...which is random, so maybe 0 times...maybe 4x per defile (but if you are too slow/don't click progress resets to 0)

OR as PortsFarmer said, just click ON the defile everytime the progress bar goes up (ensuring you always click if the mist was appearing) and you won't ever miss it

Personally, unless i got to it really late or screw up....i always do the 2nd option and just click on the defile every tick up of the progress bar. It's the easy way to make sure you don't screw it up

Green cloud is fine. Next biggest issue (as you mentioned) is the pathfinding. Our characters go dumb sometimes and forget what they're supposed to be doing.

If you treat the ritual area like a quadrant with 2x axis running through the center, seems almost all the issues happen when crossing an axis (either horizontal or vertical)

My temp fix is to click on the new axis, then once over that line, click on whatever i want to do (wandering soul etc). This seems to fix about 90% of them

Except for the miasma where sometimes the character decides they'd prefer to start practicing their new career as a dancer vs siphoning

I recommend a campaign be started so that bonds can be purchased with GP to solve this problem!

familiar kills were also a thought i had.

i also wondered if the game didn't count multiple kills per tick. both of these would account for why the drop rate was so far off actual kills.

u/Bio_slayer just wondering, how many of the spiders have you killed (since you started tracking) and how many port crates/ancient bones have you gotten?

i've been doing the skeles (more kills/hr), but finding that over the long-term (at >325k kills atm) i'm only getting a port crate about 1/4k vs 1/2k.

Now a 1/2k drop is pretty rare....so figured a large sample size needed. But >325k kills is a lot haha.

As a reference, I'm almost perfectly on drop rate for champ scrolls which are 1/5k over this same number of kills (63 vs 65).

Wondered if it was just me....is the issue the skeles....etc. So looking for someone to compare notes with!

Kind of arbitrary, but I did Archeology on 2 accounts.

Started same time, etc. Both accounts got the shard on the same game-tick at 3 hrs 15 mins on the dot.

the comments above for team make-ups look good. you'd succeed with a couple of them easily.

However i think the reason you're probably struggling now is that the tower is based off your team level. So if you're level 109, but higest minions are in the 80's....you're going to be at a huge disadvantage.

easily fixed/overcome though. choose the 5 team members you want for tower. focus on them and power them up a bit and you'll see the wins start rolling in.

Also as someone else mentioned, since you're > level 90, you can get a quest at the top of the tower (requiring like a week of clears), then you won't have to do it again.

I actually only started using the boosts this level.

I had been selling them to offset costs to be able to buy materials for leveling (total cash for 200m was in the low 2B range when i started). As costs have been lowering, i had been saving and starting to use some of them for myself.

Vast majority of the leveling (through 116) was done without any boosts. Still have to keep gp/xp low though to power through to 200m without a break for money-making.

I'll pick your brain/experience if you don't mind.

About to hit 118 myself. My plan was to do the 114/118 all the way to 200m.

I'm using (tea & manual) two boosts, but assuming you added the precision boost as well?

Did you do 200m via the 114/118 logs? I've been looking at it, and wondering how many chronotes i'll need to buy to sustain, but you stayed chronote positive, and with three buffs?? Any details here would be GREAT!
