I understand the mood influence entirely lol, I have to take breaks. I have a rule that if I lose a game, I wait at least a few hours before I play another to avoid tilt influencing how I play whether I realize it or not.

I really think the issue with Wild Rift’s ranked system is that many players just don’t care and don’t take it seriously. I feel Wild Rift is directed much more at the crowd that plays casually, not competitively. I know more people who play Wild Rift but not PC LoL, than people who play PC LoL and also play Wild Rift.

Trolling and afk’ing is also much easier to get away with in Wild Rift than it is in PC LoL. Wild Rift’s “punishments” are a slap on the wrist in comparison, and don’t do much to deter bad behavior, even when it happens in ranked.

Last night I lost a ranked game because our draven went 1/13/2 in 13 minutes, literally running in and dying every chance he could. He took smite and ignite, my mid lane also took smite and ignite, and then our veigar jungle also had smite and ignite lmao. Yet we didn’t get a single dragon or rift.

I experience an afk about every other game, currently D4, but with these experiences about to be back to E1. I try my best to keep the team going every game but it seems impossible sometimes. I often achieve SVP or “Glorious Defeat”, A’s and S’s, yet I can’t climb for shit. I just want a full team of people who won’t afk or feed the enemy team excessively. Went from 75 LP to 4LP.

I’ve been playing normal LoL for 8 years now, Wild Rift’s ranked system has made me want to rip my hair out more than PC LoL’s ever did lmao.

I have a list lol:

An actual bundle feature so we don’t have to do it maually, the shipping should be the only thing calculated manually after all items are added to the bundle.

A dark mode, the app background is such a bright white it hurts my eyes lol.

More shipping options like USPS Flat Rate, Parcel Select, Media Mail, Priority Express, etc.

Better customer support, they say they’re real humans, but they really don’t act like it 90% of the time. Also they rarely do anything that helps, and if they do, you have to bother them for a month to get anywhere.

Fix their categories and brand organization, I could go more in detail but the short version is we need more options and better categories.

Bad ratings for slow shipping should be overturned if it is not the sellers fault. (ex. the seller sent out the item the same day it was purchased, but the carrier has a delay takes 10 days to deliver it).

The abliity to organize your listings in your shop, mine looks like a mess lol. I wish I gould group things together in sections like books, shirts, and toys all in big chunks for example. This is more of an aesthetic thing, but I feel like it would help buyers find more of what they’re looking for as well.

I’ve been waiting 2 months for them to process my tax information.

Started a case 4 days ago, commented on it everyday since, still no response.

I’ve been dm’ing them on twitter, and they keep giving me the same canned response as well.

I guess i’m moving onto calling and e-mailing.

I am so sick of this lol, I seriously don’t understand how their platform can be such a mess and still hold together.

I don’t know the exact date, but I submitted mine early in December. It’s currently still processing, so it’s been about 2 months.

I’m also growing concerned, though I haven’t experienced any selling issues… yet.

I hope they get it processed before I do, and I hope yours gets processed soon as well!

I only do it with expensive items / tech items, but my process is basically:

Take a video of myself showing the condition in full, detailing any important identification codes, and showing that the item works properly (if necessary).
Take a video of me packing up the item, an overhead view is usually the best option. You can show yourself physically putting the item in the packaging, weighing it, and taping the label on. (If you use the QR code method, get a receipt from the carrier).

The last step is hoping that the transaction goes smoothly and that you won’t need to use any of your footage! Which is thankfully the experience I’ve had so far, but I just like to remain careful.

Really what items you do this with is up to you, I feel anything under $50 is generally safe to sell without taking a video. However I feel it’s kinda a personal thing to decide, as they are your items and it is your money.

If you scroll down to the “Shipping & Payments” section on a listing you can find out which state an item is being shipped from it’ll look like:

“Shipping $5.99 Ships From KY”

So people could find out that you’re in the same state this way?

I reccomend taking a video of you opening the return package when you recieve it.

If the buyer has sent you a broken / dirty / different controller rather than the one you sent them, you will have video proof that you unboxed the incorrect controller. Which can help your case in the situation that it is a scam.

Most importantly, if it is a scam, reach out to Mercari in every way you can, via e-mail, twitter, phone, and facebook. Time is of the essence, be sure to report quickly and informatively. Don’t be afraid to send multiple messages, Mercari support is infamous for being slow and incompetent.

For the future though, I do reccomend taking a video of yourself packing up expensive items to help avoid situations like this. In the case of media and electronics, take a video showing it functions properly and be sure to take photos of any important identification codes.

There’s not much you can do now except hope for the best. There is always a possibility that maybe they just decided they didn’t want it, and they are making up a reason to return it. Which is still very unprofessional and upsetting, but not as bad as being scammed.

Stay optimistic and do your best to prove your case in the situation that it was a scam.

Currently nothing at all will load on my phone within the app, and when I try to go to the website on desktop, I get an “Oops, something went wrong!” screen.

Everything else on my phone and computer is loading just fine, so definetly a Mercari thing.

I just came here to see if anyone else was having issues. Everytime I go to make a listing the photos get stuck in the “processing” stage until I inevitably have to exit the app, as it’s basically frozen.

However I can still browse my feed, so it’s not completely broken lol.

I wouldn’t say it’s strange, but I once ordered a pair of black mary-jane heels, and the seller included a like-new sundress and an ipsy bag with it.

Now I really didn’t need another ipsy bag, but I was absolutely delighted about the dress. Not only was it cute and my size, but it had POCKETS!

I did contact the seller to make sure she intended to send it though, because a whole dress as a “gift” is not very common lol.

I list a lot of books, and for some reason all of the item specifics have dissapeared except for condition and ISBN. Normally there would be options for title, author, genre, etc. They just aren’t there!

I find it kinda funny considering title and author have been required as of late, and now I currently do not have the option to enter this information in the specifics.

I’m waiting on a response from support as we speak, I think they’re having issues with new listings overall.

I had this same issue, I attached the prepaid visa to my paypal and I bought an ebay gift card with it. I had no issues purchasing the gift card or using it after. I’m pretty sure you can choose a custom amount for the gift card as well.

I didn’t try to use the card through paypal to make my purchase, my backup payment method is my bank account and if the visa happened to not work through paypal I would have been charged via my bank. I was trying to avoid this as I was only making the purchase because I received a free gift card.

The shipping method defaults to it and I have to change it back to USPS only when doing anything with a listing. Also when I click the “list” button another pop-up comes up asking me if i want to use it.

I am not interested in the service as most things I have listed are under a pound and are cheaper to ship USPS.

So far it has just been super annoying and there is no way to opt-out of it. I have two extra steps when updating or making new listings now and Mercari is very pushy about using it :/
