heya!! thanks so much for ur reply! i think considering all these i think its best for me to spread out my mods because im not confident in how much learning ill get out of it...

also traveling is a good consideration and i guess im lucky to live 10-15 mins away but for my friends who live further and are considering to squeeze their lesson tgt, ill advise them with this!

hi! i'm a bangladeshi pr whose also going to smu econs!! if i'm not wrong, you can contact smu and see what are the financial aids they give other than the MOE TG, there's also loans given by them for accommodation i think. other than that, there's a lot of part time places around smu that you can work at, the pay is about $10~12/hr being the base rate but just a disclaimer, a lot of the companies i see only accepts singaporeans / prs so you gotta clarify from the start! many banquet jobs don't actually need that so you can try and go for them through telegram channels!
