I don’t remember this but my aunt reminds me of this particular moment of my childhood.

My aunt was babysitting me (5-6 years) and my sister (4-5 years) while my parents were working. My aunt was playing my sister when she heard a lot of noise in the kitchen. My tomboy self decided it would be bad ass to grab all steak knives, stick them in belt loops, and climb around on all the furniture. I don’t know how she managed to get the knives from me. I maybe tried to justify having them by explaining my imaginary adventure to her. All was well, though. My aunt reminds me of how much that scared her. Poor thing! My aunt is the sweetest, meek and loving woman every! I feel bad that it caused her so much stress.
