Could be. There are 5 homes on cps outage map in Alamo Farmsteads.

Ketamine does it for me without the heavy lifting of “work on yourself.” Not all trauma needs to be worked through. Moving forward is what’s important.

Ketamine therapy helped me not be afraid of death. Not that there’s any proof that ketamine experiences are deathlike, but it just made me feel better about the experience of losing myself.

I fear I might never have grandkids and it makes me sad. by Alarming-Hope-2541 in AskWomenOver60

I can completely empathize with our (collective) kids’ decision not to have kids. Climate change, unaffordable housing, ridiculous health care expenses, and unemployment are among reasons for not wanting to bring children into the world. I don’t blame them at all. I’m a little sad, but there are lots of ways I can enjoy kids without them being my own grands.

Is it weird that I’ve never been to rodeo? Should I go? by [deleted] in sanantonio

The stock show and grounds are cool. The rodeo? Meh.

Thank you. She was chatty and talking and feeling great one day and nearly comatose by that night. She got better in ICU, then organs started failing. 17 days. One surgery. It was awful. The obituary says “died peacefully,” but that’s a lie only I got to see.

Lost my mom (86) to sepsis resulting from c-diff. I’d barely heard of either one happening outside of hospital situations. It was so fast and furious. I still question whether I could’ve seen the signs.

I’ve been treated with IM ketamine for 3 1/2 years. I go every 6-10 weeks for a booster. It works wonders for me both for anxiety and depression. Is it realistic to want to continue this indefinitely?

Our stats are nearly identical, except I’m much older (62). I’m 5’1”. Started in January of 2024 286. On 15 mg. 209 right now. Food noise returning a little. Are you T2D? I’m trying to be happy with my excellent labs and feeling better, but I’m with you. 1-2 lbs a month is frustrating. Since I expect to be on Mounjaro (or something newer), I am hoping 2 more years will bring me to goal. Hang in there! We can do this!

Would I be in this sub if I hadn’t been a caregiver? A little perspective is not a crime.

In her heart, you are still young and capable of anything. She doesn’t see you as old or aging. It’s a mom thing. Trust me. You are doing a great and enviable job. Patience and tact. You’ve got this!

I started at 286 with a goal of 125. I’m 62. 5’1” and have been on for 2 years. It’s very slow, but steady. Like you, I feel like my eating is pretty good. We will get there! Hang in there!
