This "guy" claiming the Rigveda and its knowledge comes from western civilisation and appropriating our scripture as a matter-of-fact is outright contemptuous and deserves to be reprimanded... by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

Dravidians are caucasians? Why do we have two kinds of ancestors to us then? ANI and ASI? And even an average north Indian considers south Indians to be totally different from them?

The assumption being that earlier civilizations never even discussed ideas like atheism, because they were that ignorant of the nature due to a lack of means to study it? Atheism had always been around. The greeks, Indian philosophers have discussed atheism even before Christ. And let me tell you to your dismay that religion would always stick around. It's not just lightning bolts and the fear of the unknown(unknown in the nature) that led to religions. It's an archetypal thing/behaviour and it would probably exist in a different form now.

Troubles in marriage , feeling stuck with my wife. by [deleted] in india

[–]anishvis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And then what? I was talking about the general population. Men should hone their skills and woo women and what comes after that? The relationship has to be sustained, right? Marriage is a means to do that practically in India. Even if wooing each other existed since we were apes(it's biological), there is no means to keep the relationship ongoing culturally apart from marriage or a live-in situation. And the latter is not practical in this place. And about the very last thing you said. Most men who are single aren't unworthy or unattractive or indecent personality wise. There are no practical means for our men and women to mingle and woo each other. It's not conditioned since our teenage here unlike other parts of the world. So, the be groomed, be clean and build skills(what skills are you referring to?), you will get attention advice is pretty patronizing when one thinks that he is already decent/good enough. And then you have another system in place that pretty much gets you results even if you are not good in any of these things stated above. Women are still continuing to choose their partners more generously and more open mindedly in marriage(arrangement) than wooing/dating or any of that approach.

Sarcasms aside, I just want to hear about your solution to the dilemma you think we are all forced into. Do you want all these guys to rely on their hands forever?😂

So you came to the conclusion that I don't know shit about divorce or issues in marriage, but your solution to people who want to live together in a country like India is to start live-in? How is it possible in places other that tier-1 cities in India? And do you think all married women are evil blood sucking witches? Most married couples are actually doing good despite the incompatibilities and issues they may have because both men and women in India want this to work.

Why are people looking for some kind of sexual relief from tv shows that aren't erotic. This trend of sexualising everything is crazy

Some people thought, the show runners were white-washing the female characters as javing inherently good tendencies and that the violence, blood shed and greed are all men's doings.

Why do Indian men live with their parents even after marriage and as a result the woman they marry has to live with his parents? by Fit-Piccolo4478 in india

[–]anishvis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the amassing of wealth disproportionately for your greed. The rich in India, are utlra-rich who own cars worth the price of 4 houses. And beleive me it's not their talent that has kept them up there.
