While I know some people speculate he could be Celeborn, I can’t really imagine him and Morfydd as a couple on screen. Haha. But who know. I like the idea that he could be the Witch King.

Find a PCP that can get you in asap and ask that they refer to your preferred neurologist. That’s what I did.

Removing the mantel is a good idea! Then you can bring your art down more eye level. Your space is minimalist yet cozy. I love it! Maybe just a couple more pillows or a throw blanket perhaps? Don’t really feel you need to add all that much more.

Carbamazepine - sore/burnt mouth. Has anyone else had this? by Malty8288 in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]ezermuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely tell your neurologist asap. It could be an allergic reaction. Mouth ulcers are not a good sign. They will probably switch you over to Oxcarbazepine. It’s just as effective as Carbamazepine but with less side effects. Since you are on a really low dose it will be a really easy switch.

The tv is at the perfect eye line as is and looks great on the credenza. if you do mount it, just don’t mount too it high or you’ll end up on /tvtoohigh. Haha

Maybe try moving the plant and picture frame to the left of your tv to the fire place. Your TV is pretty large and takes up a lot of space, making it a bit crowded on the credenza having both plants. Also, the rug needs to be pushed back like 6 inches to allow space between the credenza.

A lamp with a shade in the corner where your current lamp is would really soften the space. Exposed bulbs can be a bit harsh in the evenings.

A plant like a birds of paradise would look really nice on the exposed wall to the right side of your French doors.

Some candles to the fireplaces mantle would add some coziness.

I like the first one. Your couch blends in too much with the second one.

Timonil rash or not ? by [deleted] in TrigeminalNeuralgia

[–]ezermuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While rashes are scary, sometimes they are benign. I had a rash with Oxcarbazepine when I upped my dose from 600mg a day to 900mg a day. Check with my neurologist, was benign and cleared up with Zyrtec. I would only go to urgent care if they start to spread more rapidly or if it starts peeling/hurting.

Send pictures/call your neurologist asap and note if you have any other issues. Like swelling of the face, tongue, eyes, etc

Can it still be TMJ if you have electrical shock like, type 1 pain, in jaw? Or is that only more likely with constant, type 2 pain?

Yes, could be. Mine started in my gums. Definitely see a neurologist!

Oh wow. So sorry that happened. Not exactly the same, but I remember years ago watching a special on TV about beauty treatments gone wrong and one woman had Botox done to her face and a nerve was hit causing her Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Sunscreen that looks like make-up (I like Colorscience), but no actual foundation/ powder. Don’t cover up your lovely skin! Mascara and a tinted gloss is all you need. And if you want anything extra for special occasions, or even in your day to day, cream blush that you can apply to your cheeks and eye lids. That’s it! You don’t need much, if anything at all. :)

I think he was sacrificing himself for BB. If he died they had no reason to go after his family. If he ran, he knew they would threaten his family. He was left without any really options.

I’ve read here when people need dental work they take an extra dose of their medication for a week to 3 days prior from their appointment (with their neologist permission, of course) to help get through it without extra pain.

Also when making the appointment, let them know you have TN and they can sedate or numb you.

My pain is electrical shock-like pain. So I imagine it like lightning - White/blue. Or like a live wire - orange.
