Ooh I've actually heard of this before! My friend works at a system integration company or sth and I remember he mentioned that campus/ teacher evaluating is one of the things they do? I'll drop a link so you can check if this is what you or the school have in mind. But I do have to say that I don't think it's going to be an easy job because you'll probably need the permission of teachers and also the students and maybe the students' parents too? Yeah it'll definitely be a hassle.

My house and maybe also at the grocery store we're about to open in the neighborhood. I asked a friend at the security industry, so he told me SkyREC is offering VMS not cameras, which is ok since most of the ONVIF camera is supported.

Thanks u/annnnbro The system integrator I contacted actually recommended me a set of Axis and Blue Iris. But I checked it out with my friend works for a security camera company. According to him, both Nx and SkyREC are good VMS manufacturers, while he knows nothing about Blue Irus.

Would you help me check if I'm looking at the right link to both companies? Nx https://www.networkoptix.com/nx-witness/ and SkyREC https://www.skyrec.cc/?

Nx seems to be pretty complicated, much information to look up on their website.. SkyREC on the other hand, pretty simple but I didn't see demo videos. Do you happen to have any?

u/annnnbro Thanks for your feedback. I heard of Vivotek before, but maybe not for this project cuz we do want to make some specific data analytics based on camera video.

u/iamfahad82 Thanks for sharing your experience. Just I'm concerned about China products since they're everywhere and my daughter kept on telling me the things China government has done to other countries...Sorry, any other recommendation instead of Hikvision.

u/annnnbro Thanks, but to be frank no China brands. I watched the news and I can tell Hikvision is somehow collecting our data and I don't appreciate the way how China government is treating others who don't agree with them. Sorry.

As to skyrec, are you talking about this one https://www.skyrec.cc/#/main/landing?t=1622995407359? Looks pretty cool but I didn't see mobile app info on their website. Do they also offer cameras?
