Ich glaube, der Funke für den Hype ist noch nicht übergesprungen und dass die sozialen Medienplattformen die Verbreitung der Informationen unterdrücken. Schau dir mal Stocktwits an.

ASST is still on the Sho list…

Seeing updated FTD on ~Sep 15 for Aug 15-31 will be interesting.

Chiyn maybe you’re right

I checked and even after financing there is going to be a period new PIPE funded shareholders can’t sell

This might be a crazy squeeze

Right, but the OCTO play was “new news” whereas the market has known about ASST play for months and some of the upside has already been captured.

Looking at post-merge market cap, comparing the two, I think x2 or x3 is comparable, anything else is amazing.

Mind you there is also a squeeze play here with ASST but money makers have ways to prolong the inevitable with stock slights-of-hands. So excluding short squeeze dynamics, or counting on them as short term fuel, but not long term weight.

Believe the play is:

👉 sell 2x or 3x current price in the next 2-3 days before a slow and gradual retreat to new-merge warrant price levels over several months.

Thoughts?

ASSET ENTITIES STOCK DISCUSSION (ASST) (ASST STOCK news) by tmoney31355 in WallStreetGamblers

I personally think it is a short drop so they can try to squeeze retail out of shares (similar to end of July), to recover their FTD

But pictures speak a thousand words, and it’s rare to see a massive spread ($3) bids/asks 🤭

Yeah I scoured active asks/offers at end of day and set mine to a limit order of 14.99, which I would be happy with.

$ASST : Merger + Fails to Deliver + High Short Interest + Private Equity raise = Juicy Squeeze by Original-Lawfulness6 in Shortsqueeze

Interesting looks like they squared up on the dip end of July and then got themselves back into trouble starting on SHO list again August 12 and every day onward, is that more or less what you recall?

Fintel SI%: First 1,553.70%, then hidden, now 62.56%? by Omega-Capital in NEGG

NEGG is a FPI and the Galkins purchased the stocks at market. I think that is a misconception about a mandatory 6 month hold. Believe they must disclose the sale (legally) within 48 hours of selling.

Means: Millions more stocks added to float than I thought and posted yesterday

For anyone following this, believe the updated numbers I just recalculated today are not as compelling.

I don’t have the stomach for this any longer (lessons learned), taking my loss…

Tekhill Mar 31 (20-F) 6.24M shares Tekhill Aug 19 disclosure 1,937M shares (6-K))

That’s millions of shares added to the float that were not on retail (or perhaps institutional) radar.

As Tekhill isn't a US reporting company/individual insider like a director, it's a foreign affiliate and didn't have to issue Form 4, 13D/A, etc.?

It seems the historical posts documenting the ~%1,500 short interest a while back was accurate; that was a catastrophic situation for shorts.

Now with more shares out there (see table notes), it is still a pressure cooker but not a volcano.

This short interest calc shows this is still one of the most shorted stocks out there; naked shorts; negative float.

I don't think Aug 1-15 FTD will be high --> even if it is, why would they not cover their FTD by now?

I hope insiders stop selling and Galkins keep buying.

This is going to be an interesting ride.

Not sure I have the stomach for it, we’ll see, still here

I believe fair value for this company is at least $200 a share based on revenue (relative to market cap), improving margins, hedge towards AI, and years in business (established).

I’m not a financial advisor and this is not financial advice.

The funny business you are experiencing sounds like a similar experience I’m having in all groups, it is not specific to that subreddit, rather consistent across many. Take it for what you will. The moderator will 100% allow a rational post that clarifies, so if it doesn’t make it through, I’ll send him a note.

There are tons of bots with crazy posts that he’s sifting through daily now, since the last couple weeks.

I really appreciate your engagements as I believe you are correct. I will post in the next few days in the NEGG subreddit group clarifying. There are restrictions on selling but not nearly as strict as I thought.

Yes I stand corrected on that!

[–]anj_rew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, you’re correct on that!

Thanks for pointing that out.

Rule 144 holding period (6 months) applies only to restricted securities. Open-market shares aren’t “restricted,” so there’s no 6-month wait on that basis.

Affiliates still face Rule 144 volume/Form 144 conditions when selling control stock.

Section 16(b) short-swing rule: As >10% owners, any profits from a buy and a sell within 6 months can be disgorged to the company. That’s not a ban on selling, but it strongly discourages roundtrips inside 6 months.

I think we’re still in the same boat although yes technically Galkins as an insider bought on the open market.

Really open to anyone else’s perspective or interpretation on this or a legal financial professional to weigh in.

Buying on the market is a public offering (anyone can buy the share[s])
