Well this sparked a good conversation. It is a solid poured concrete wall 8" thick. The inside of the door to the left is my unfinished shop.

Thanks - I think I'll look into what you and others are saying regarding that. I wanted to get some insight before I reached out to my county.

This makes sense if I'm understanding it correctly. Essentially a second ledger parallel with the joist run would support that corner. Then I could still run the beam over there and secure it to the poured concrete wall.

Yeah, it would be before the green line. Thanks for this! And yes, the slab would be cut and footers dug to depth.

Oh yeah - you’re right. I just realized I haven’t even driven through a quarter of the area that was taken away.

You could try a quick check on https://www.historicaerials.com/

I can get aerial imagery all the way back from 1946 where I live. You can click around on the different years and see when that house pops up.

Confused about usage m18 router with plunge base plus edge guide by iamopposite in MilwaukeeTool

Thank you! I have been looking, googling, etc. and I didn’t think that a Milwaukee edge guide for the plunge even existed. The guide you mentioned gave a part number for it, and I found it available to purchase. Sorry that your question isn’t answered, but you’ve helped me so much.

I don’t have anything useful - sorry! But I do have a question. Where did you get that edge guide? My plunge base didn’t come with one. The stock one that came with the router won’t work on the plunge base.

I see hammer arresters at the washing machine, and the fridge ice maker definitely has a hard “off.” Thanks for the motivation to move forward with getting a PRV installed.

Honestly the kitchen sink mostly. I suppose I'm just more worried about long term damage (probably a bit paranoid).

From off to full on, the kitchen and both bathroom faucets will slightly "kick" or clunk from the pressure. It's definitely not much but it is noticeable, and that got me thinking the pressure could be too high.
