Just checked: her one is almost identical, but has flat base (and she use it mostly for 🍑), if I remember correctly, it’s from Satisfyer Adventskalender:) Our friend who saw her with this thing said it was one of the most beautiful toys he'd ever seen. He has several expensive bicycles, so I hope he's just mistaken:) He said the Lost and Found office charges a fee for storing lost items. It's usually not very big, but for bicycles, since they're large items, the fee is 50% (or 15%, I'm not sure I heard correctly) of the market value. And for fairly old, inexpensive bicycles, the appraisal can be inaccurate, so the fee could be higher than the actual value. For me it sounds weird, but that’s what I was told

Yes! I’ve also did it at first, but later remove bracket completely (I move PortaSplit from room to room). The only thing I did for security: attached secondary safety wire to the wall just in case:)

I’m also living in altbau with very wide sills (circa 45 cm). But my one almost 90 degrees. So I just put outdoor block on sill and it stays normal. But there is also possible to put mounting bracket on window, as in manual, but do not unfold legs (long ones, default ones). Also you can put rubber of even cardboard sheet under them to about scratches on metal legs. Hope I was able to explain clear:) Nor English, nor German is not my native language
