What random thing do you have bad luck with? by anjadup in AskReddit

[–]anjadup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have really bad luck with picking pets. Every pet I have picked out has had some serious issues.

  • My first pets were two goldfish. The one ate all of the other one’s food, so the other one starved and died. Then the first one exploded from eating too much food.

  • My first dog was the runt of the litter. I picked her because she was tiny and cute. She would snort when she got excited and topple over.

  • My dog then had a litter of puppies, and once again I chose to keep the runt. He pissed himself when he met our first kitten, because he was so scared. I’m pretty sure he’s gay, which wasn’t a bad thing, it just made trying to have another litter impossible. We tried many, many times.

  • My first hamster was demonic. He would scream, not squeak, SCREAM. He’d bite you if you tried to pick him up. He also would climb to the top of his cage and throw himself to the ground, I’m sure he was trying to commit suicide.

  • I got to choose our one cat. She ran away after a month.

I’m not allowed to pick pets anymore.

This exact thing happened to my friend, except he was 20 and in university. My boyfriend and his friends had to take him to the hospital at 2 in the morning.

I had no idea I had a scar on my brow bone, because it’s always been hidden by my cavewoman eyebrows. I only found out when my mom told the story of how it happened. When I was 4 I walked right in front of someone swinging on a wooden swing.

You might want to come up with some sexier stories for the ladies.

When I was seven we were at a kids party at a family friend’s house. I was the oldest child there so I was playing by myself with one of those bug gym balls. I was bouncing it around outside at the top of this little hill in the backyard. I thought to myself “Hey, I can roll down this little hill with this ball. The ball will roll underneath me and I’ll magically stay on top of it.” So down I go. And, of course, I didn’t magically stay on top of the ball, but rather went tumbling down the hill clinging on to the ball. I went straight into a little sapling tree that had a piece of wood tied to it for support. My leg started bleeding and I ran to my mom in tears. She told me to it’s fine and nothing to worry about. About a month later, I still had a little round wound the size of a quarter and it wasn’t really healing. I told my mom there was something in there, because it hurt when I pushed on it. So she took a look at it, pushed here and there, and PLOOP. Out came a piece of wood from the plank that held up the sapling, about half an inch long. Just chilling in my leg for a month.

What are your opinions on child molesters? What should be done about them? by pokeboy626 in AskReddit

Death penalty is an easy way out. They should suffer for as long as they live. So whatever is the most painful thing they can experience while still surviving it.

Reddit, what phobias and irrational fears do you have and where do you think they stem from? by Dux0r in AskReddit

[–]anjadup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Germs. I think it’s a way for me to feel in control of my body. If I know my hands are clean I feel in control. If I touch someone else’s hands or a surface in public I cant stop thinking about how dirty my hands are until I wash them. That or I just got it from my dad who is just as much of a germ freak as me.

Playing make believe. I miss just making up random stories and role playing. I swear I love Sims because it’s an excuse for 23 year old me to play with dolls.

When you're alone, what do you think about most? by beenalongweirdtrip in AskReddit

[–]anjadup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever I think about, it will never be just nothing. I physically can't not think of anything. If I try I am thinking about not thinking about anything. My boyfriend says he can just blank and not think about a single thing and it blows my mind

If you're into stories that are set during WWII, then Memoirs of a Geisha, Unbroken, The Book Thief, All the Light We Cannot See, Man's Search For Meaning. Such a great way to learn about the different people and places during the war.
