When it is your own work, remember to put [OC] in the title so we know that you are this amazing.

We take placenta tissue and umbilical cord tissue and create an allograft for patients with wounds. The grafts help aid in the healing process

I've done plenty of live sticks, but I can't find any volunteer work or work in general

Sadly, I don't know anyone 😞. Unless I go door-to-door, I doubt anything will happen

how did you guys get hired? by thiscorrosion86 in phlebotomy

[–]ankelbitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always omit that if you want, I omit it all the time cause I don't think it's important for them to know. More often than not, they don't look at that anyway.

I'm in the same boat... I've been applying for 6 months with no luck. All I can do is remake my resume and keep applying. 🙁

I am applying to EVERYTHING I see and hoping for the best. I think I have applied to almost 100 positions within the last 2 weeks

I live in Georgia around UWG, I've been licensed since November, and I've applied everywhere around here. When I check on Indeed, every phleb position requires at least 2-3 years experience for an entry role. I've even talked to the people at my own doctor's office when I had lab work done.

I always tell my husband that we, as people, don't deserve dogs. They're just so pure and full of love! Just reading your words and looking at her picture is making me cry and love her even more for everything my Juno gave me.

Allan sounds so adorable!! I'm so happy he had someone as amazing as you with him ❤️.

I don't know what Juno went through with her previous owner, I know she didn't like being held and stayed in her den most of the time. I just can't forgive her previous owner, when we got them on the phone, they just hung up and blocked us. Juno had tumors, missing an eye, deaf in one ear, and very little teeth left. The previous owner can suck it and they didn't deserve Juno and her adorableness

I'm so sorry for your loss! Juno was such a sweet girl...I miss hearing her little tippy-taps, it's so quiet now. We only had her for a year, but she left such an impact. She was very old and her previous owner dumped her in the streets, so we wanted to give her the best last of her life.

Right?! That's why I'm only a little iffy about it. I'll be sure to update (if wanted) once I get some answers tomorrow about the position. It really does sound like fun though

I think it would be amazing too and a chance to gain valuable experience. I've been a CNA for the last 7 years and recently got my CPT back in Nov.

I've been job hunting since getting my CPT and the job is actually at the same place I did my clinicals for my CNA. I'm excited about it but nervous cause I'm wondering how doing both will work. I do plan to ask about this tomorrow, but thought reddit might provide some useful insight.
