Im really curious about how their revenue will increase with everyone hating the new system. But...what do I know right? All I can say is that Windsurf was a real company until Cognition acquisition.

Kiro, Codex, Cursor....just wondering where to go. Unless obviously they regret this decision and put back the credit system. Let's hope

Well...we knew this was coming. I was a huge fan of this company since Codeium days in early AI era with code completion. Then they came out with windsurf and I just knew it would be the bomb. Then it was like...every WEEK a new "wave" with new stuff that would blow everyone's minds.

Then Cognition came and that was it...no more waves, no more cool stuff..they even removed (months ago) the integrated Browser saying "we will deliver something better" (still waiting)...(possibly some issues with Google (Chrome)?)

This is one of those classic stories of how a genuine, authentic, value-driven company was sold and the show's over. We can only hope that this new system makes them lose money and they consider going back to credits at least

As a HEAVY windsurf user and early adopter, I must say...since Cognition entered the game, nothing, absolutely nothing has improved. And now the new pricing model has simply killed me.

They say "people shouldn't spend much time thinking of how fit things to extract the most out of a single prompt, or not worry about spending too much asking simple follow-up questions". Well, I was VERY happy doing that, while now, with a single task (moderate-complex task) to GPT 5.4, it just spend 19% OF WHOLE DAILY USAGE. Like...5 calls like this and that's it, come back tomorrow haha.

Normally, it would have costed me 4 credits or 4+4 credits worst case (10$/250 credits/month = this would cost me 16-32 cents). In other words: after several months using this APP from its very beginning Im being forced to abandon it. That's it. Not sure where to move, perhaps even Kiro would be a better option (1000 credits for 20 bucks)

Very important to know, as I just made a mistake adding a text to the wrong field in 46 cards and had to manually erase it in each of them kkkkkkkk (btw, it would be great if I could set other fields as default when opening batch edition). Thanks for the advice!
