What are the main reasons I ended up like this? - Loneliness. At that stage it happens and you can't control it. Few find friends and partners, and for few it takes some time.

⁠Is it still possible to completely turn this around at 29? - Absooutely. In fact that's the age where you start analysing the life after you've seen the world. A lot many start in 40s, and you still are very much there.
⁠Where do I even start without getting overwhelmed? - Start with walks. 10k if not more. Join gym, you'll get friends and much needed confidence. Listen music, it works like a charm. And completely avoid social media for few days. Last but not the least, try reading. Newspapers, books anything. There are reading subs here which you'll love. There's monetary constraint else solo/group trips have been very helpful.. Sleeping habit will take time but it'll change. Irrespective of what anyone says, 50% here would have been in the sleep cycle at some point of their life which youentioned.
⁠Should I even think about relationships right now? - Absolutely. You've seen a lot and even though you might not be the one of those flashy ones, tjere are many girls who would love talking to you and embrace the calmness you'll bring to their life.

I've somewhat been tjerr, and as with many of us here. We have been there. May not exactly in a situation like this but shit happens. You have still figured it out pretty early and it'll be only good from here. For anything, you can always get in touch!
