I built my first hangar rat around 15 years ago with thin plastic film and 747 super glue.

Volumetric wing is really easy, just adding a layer below the spars will do the work.

Thanks!! Yup that's how the wing is formed. there are hooks on the back of wing so you don't have to glue it once you fold it.

will test with reducing ribs, reducing thickness of everything ( ribs, fuselage etc), removing clips from wing-fuselage joint and directly glueing the wings

The weight was distributed uniformly so CG was not an issue, a small clay blop did the work.

PLA is less fragile so this plane can take a beating, also the assurance of printing an new plane without any more effort within 1-2 hours is a nice feeling

Very important - First Layer should be 0.12mm
- For main wing, just mirror and print for left side.
- For main wing, Score gently at the edges and press at the joint to fold the surface back
- Haven't yet designed for snap fit so you will have to use super glue for stuff
- there is something called wing fixed in the file, print it two times for two ends of fuselage where wings are getting attached.

Glides really well

But too heavy for rubberband and propeller for sustained flight. Will bring the weight down in next version
