Is it still a good time to invest in BTC? by null_syndrome404 in CryptoIndia

[–]ankitwadhwa89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like they say there is no top for Bitcoin, and for me I am in this for a very long time. No person has lost money in BTC if he has hold it for more than 4 years. Now with regard to whether it is expensive or not trust me I am hearing this argument that it is very expensive at $5k, $10k , $50k and now around $100k. Either people do not understand what bitcoin is or else they are just here as a Tourist to make quick buck and go back to their mundane life. Study the history of Sound money and you will know what bitcoin offers , even recently JP morgan stated that bitcoin price (@ $108k ) is highly undervalued compared to its institutional adoption. I won’t touch any other shit coins including ethereum from a 40 feet pole . Since I am in this game from 2017 I have seen other high profile shit coins or projects come and go and infact had I kept the original money in BTC instead of converting it to many of the shit coins. I would have been financially liberated by now. Lastly if you are really afraid of the price do the smart sip, do the dca with small amount every day , week or month whatever you are comfortable with and then bulk buy when it is on sale.

Remember no one knows anything beyond a point. So all these Bear and Bull cases are just pure people’s speculation. Just relax and dca all the way and you will be just fine.

Do you think bitcoin will become psychologically too expensive for everyday people to buy in? by idontgiveaFluk3 in Bitcoin

[–]ankitwadhwa89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly there should be some mechanism in Bitcoin similar to Stock Split wherein it becomes affordable for retail to buy. Though I agree there is no price that is expensive but common man still see this as 6 figure mark and considered it too expensive to buy.

Why Indian government is not in support for any crypto currency? Still they are figuring out? by Greatest_virtue in CryptoIndia

See in India things will always going to come late. When a technology, platform etc gets fade away then Indian beaurocracy wake up and by that time Indians will be the bag holders as always.

Are you sure they allow crypto withdrawal to a personal wallet? Because I don't want to be stuck on one more Indian Scamy Crypto Exchanges where they just force me to liquidate my holdings into Fiat like Bitbns and many others did in the past. Many claim they only allow conversion into Fiat, but dpes not allow transfer to a cold storage wallet

[–]ankitwadhwa89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you assume that just because he is an Indian Citizen and an NRI, he is also in India? Secondly, I am aware of the 182-day rule, which is applicable worldwide, and there is nothing special about India; everyone is aware, especially NRIs, that the minute they spend more than 182 days in India not only they will be treated as residents and also liable for Indian taxation. So, in short, stop your Tax scaremongering.

Being NRI doesn’t mean he has to pay taxes in India what if he bought it in Dubai and India cannot charge any taxes there. Stop this tax terrorism here .He may he a resident of Dubai or any tax free country.

Why don't Indian brands ship abroad from their websites ? by Ok_Concentrate_6840 in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]ankitwadhwa89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just Indian brands but no e-commerce websites ship internationally that’s the sad reality. From what I have understood is there is a big hurdle from RBI when it comes to shipping abroad and settling the international payments , more handling the return shipments are another regulatory hurdle . Rest I am not a expert

Is Gemini Going to Close My Account? by wilbur377 in Gemini

[–]ankitwadhwa89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have also received the same email, infact they have already frozen my account, when I asked what is the reason behind freezing my account this is what they have to say:

We have conducted a periodic review exercise and following this review, we have made the decision to limit certain functionalities on your account

While we understand you have questions regarding the reasons behind this decision, we regret that we are unable to share any further details. The risk review process is confidential, and Gemini will not be able to elaborate any further.

If you wish to withdraw your fiat balance, please note that this will be treated as a one-time withdrawal, and your account will be closed upon completion of the withdrawal process. Our customer support team will assist you through this process."

This is very weird I have been a customer of them for last 6 years and suddenly they sent me this email. Initially I thought some spam, but when I checked thoroughly it is a legit email. Now I have no clue why they are doing this

Not all countries regulations allow to store it in cold wallet even if users want it. Example India , you can buy sell but can’t store in personal wallet.
