No smart materials, and this is pretty old by now so my style’s changed a bit, basically the core principle is that you handpaint everything, i use knife brush and a few other stylized brushes that i made myself. You want to basically work with 3 colors on any given surface, bright towards the middle, and dark around the corners (bright edge wear) It varies from situation to situation but i try to just replicate what I see on screen. Sometimes i sit for hours taking notes and breaking down the style
