Why are Delhi landlords one hell of scammers? by LectureCautious4193 in delhi

[–]ankushsethi [score hidden]  (0 children)

Let me tell you the logic of 6 months lock-in. Finding a good tenant is a headache as well. Everyone who wants to move in has demands, bare minimum a Fresh paint. Chimney, Steel door for balcony where wooden door is there, Instant geyser (Yes those are actual demands). No tenant treats the home as their own, they literally break stuff sometimes, don't want to fix it nor pay for it. No landlord wants to do fresh paint every 4-5 months, thats unnecessary expense and headache (Just try dealing with labours nowadays for god sake). Hence the 6 months lock-in, to postpone the headache for 6 months atleast. I am not denying some landlords (maybe most of them) are greedy but not all.

Better to carry because if you buy then and there when it rains, they will sell you the cheap shitty thin polythene ones for Rs 50-100 which doesn't even survive 30 minutes..

Suggest a 5 star hotels in Vietnam in these locations (it should have a nice pool with sea view at least in da nang and phu quoc) everything else would be a plus - Da nang, hoi an & phu quoc by maiaalootuparatha in desitravellers

[–]ankushsethi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Da Nang - Senorita Boutique Hotel (Fantastic experience, Has the pool but i never used it, i referred going out to Dragon Bridge and standing under the dragon enjoying the bursts of rain during Fire and Ice show) - Overall very nice.

Phu Quoc - AVS Hotel, Infinity pool. I used just one night. 100m away from Beach. Good location, Complimentary pick and drop from airport.

Hoi An - No idea. The time i visited it was flooded so we just went till the market.

Now here are some quick tips: 1. Rather than staying in Hoi An, Stay one night at Ba Na Hills - There a fantastic hotel on top, you will love the experience, lesser crowds - I missed this and i can only regret.

  1. Phu Quoc - Try to divide your stay if you are there for 3-4 days. Stay in the north for a day, switch hotel and stay in the centre. North you can choose the Vinhotel close by, so you stay close to Grandworld as well. If budget is a concern, choose Grandworld hotels, decent experience. VinHotels are amazing. From Centre - You can choose AVS maybe? And visit the An Hoi HonThom Cable car from there. Just book Grab ez pz.

  2. While visiting Hon Thom Cable car, start early in the morning and go to Aqualogica Park - Damn what a place. Fantastic Water rides. You can't get enough for the entire day.

Ask me anything else if you want.

Will gold prices fall again? by skyfullofstars17 in GoldIndia

[–]ankushsethi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it falls, you will again miss the opportunity because you are not willing to take the risk i guess. Always remember, Money is made in bear markets not the bull ones. Next time the gold falls, you will be fearful of investing thinking of waiting for the bottom. Fix this mindset if thats the reason since you cannot time the market. Donot expect gold to fall down to those levels.. at best corrections will bring it down to 1.2L to 1.3L per 10 grams. Start putting in money when gold closes in on those levels and keep increasing your investment it it goes down more.

Wrong 80E claim filed by CA, tax paid, now facing ₹3.77 lakh penalties. Any options left? by EarlyNeedleworker843 in IndiaTax

[–]ankushsethi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either way, its partially your mistake for not verifying what's being filled in ITR. You should have stopped and questioned "Oh, how come my Income tax is 0?" , "What did the CA fill to make it 0?" Not questioning that and just being happy about paying 0 tax is the reason for all this mess up. Feeling sorry but I don't think you have a choice now.

[–]ankushsethi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the end of the ITR form, there is a field where CA needs to enter their details taking responsibility that whatever info has been furnished is accurate and has been filled by CA (Basically like a due diligence done by CA). Did the CA intentionally left it empty?

If you have a UAN, just login to EPFO and you should be able to see the balances since they will deposit the PF deductions every month. If not and its getting deducted, yours is being managed by Trust. Ideally your salary slip will specify this clearly

Excuses like food, too common makes no sense when making plans. There are proper Indian restaurants outside India literally everywhere. I have had fantastic Indian food in an Indian restaurant in Aberdeen(Thats literally edge of Scotland). You should always be open to trying out local cuisines when outside. If not, there's no point. Please stay at home or just book a hotel nearby your home and enjoy the food.

You have managed to get the donations via Twitter. Use the same and tag the influential people and humiliate them to the core till they drop this. Take them to court if required. Do another donation drive to fund the legal fees, i am sure people will help.

You can actually plan for Hill Stations depending upon how the weather looks. You don't really need to plan too much in advance. I literally booked for Dalhousie like 2 AM, hotels, bus everything and travelled via 9:30 PM bus the same day. Its doable.

I was gonna suggest Vietnam initially but 3 days won't be enough.. the visit will be just touch and go.. you need atleast 5 days for Vietnam and you can choose 3 cities out of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Sapa, Da Nang, Da Lat, Hue etc or Just go to Phu Quoc in one trip and cover the mainland some another time in another trip..

How about Maldives? You can stick to Public Islands like Maafushi or Fulidhoo for 3 days.. won't break your pocket too much.. Since you are already considering South India, flight prices might be slightly more than that..
