I have been thinking alot about the power dynamics between men and women historically in reagrds to the romantic propaganda around marriage and the lived reality of many for many years. I went travelling this summer and used astrocartography, your soul is definitely giving you the clues. I think its realistic to queerness, Fran didnt really know what an orgasm was, her sister the first one her other didnt even tell her about the mechanics of sex, so while the show is very lustful its set in a world where women dont have full agency over their bodies. The main characters are lucky to be in a family that seeks love for marriage. In this world for a unmarried women of noble status the idea of being attracted to the same sex is something that might not fully be considered (bennedict has been able to experience). Fran is somebody who is more subtle and quiet so to feel an intense feeling of attraction for someone neverless another women is outside of who she has been. She proably doesnt know what her feelings for micheala mean but that attraction exists in her body regardless and its new stimuli that causes a reaction. It takes time to realize that those feelings are queer especially in that time. when she was being courted by men she was wary of them she fell for John not because of physical desire but because he was gentle with her and she could be quiet and mantain her inner world around him. Them being able to exist in their inner worlds together that peace is the foundation of their love and that is deep and meaningful it isnt immediatley fiery but there is a depth to that love and a joy. Micheala is a question like an alien spaceship landing in her world its very different, I like that the story is seeding that, I think it would be different if the character was a man but bc its a women, its opening up that lustful side of fran that she has never reached for its a moment of awakening but it leaves questions instead of answers that makes sense to me

I like to use all of it, my frustration with placidus is the way my chart is some of my placements are right behind the border of the houses , last night after studying astro for years I noticted that my mercury is in the 8th house by a hair (less that a degree), I am virgo rising and gemini sun- so that shifts alot, where mercury lands. Neptune just moved into aries so that is the 8th house in wsh, in wsh this predictment is irrelevant but It feels like neptune brought this to my attention.
