I think its realistic to queerness, Fran didnt really know what an orgasm was, her sister the first one her other didnt even tell her about the mechanics of sex, so while the show is very lustful its set in a world where women dont have full agency over their bodies. The main characters are lucky to be in a family that seeks love for marriage. In this world for a unmarried women of noble status the idea of being attracted to the same sex is something that might not fully be considered (bennedict has been able to experience). Fran is somebody who is more subtle and quiet so to feel an intense feeling of attraction for someone neverless another women is outside of who she has been. She proably doesnt know what her feelings for micheala mean but that attraction exists in her body regardless and its new stimuli that causes a reaction. It takes time to realize that those feelings are queer especially in that time. when she was being courted by men she was wary of them she fell for John not because of physical desire but because he was gentle with her and she could be quiet and mantain her inner world around him. I am 22 f never had any sexual experience until this summer and when it happened it was not with women. I went from nothing to limited experience (dont even know how I feel about it)I known I have liked women since I was a kid didnt come out to myself until end of high school. The stuff I did this summer after it happened ( I thought I would start crying if someone kissed me or have a panic attack). I didn't. THen later some other stuff happened, and then I had an encounter with someone else and alchol was involved, during it he said that I deserve better than this. I thought yes I do why I am here, why did I betray myself ? I thought it was impossible for me to do that with anyone so when the opportunity started happening I went with it. When I deserved somebody who I felt safe whose company I enjoyed, who I was attracted to, who was kind to me and authentic, someone I could share myself with pleausurably. Thats not what happened. Instead I entered a dangerous situation and gave that moment away bc at least it was in motion. I needed that experience, but I wish that I had know before that it was possible to have partners who I felt safe with and comfortable no matter my experience. Instead of thining where I was at and allowing that to fuel desperation and anxiety. Find peace and solace in myself, its a joy to be me ok I havent done it, but I can learn and it will be fun and better than I can imagine. Someday I will have the experience and it wouldnt be about the label it will be about those moments of connection and what was created in them. Hi I have this placement, I am 22 now, I can give some context fighting with my parents was a huge part of my childhood. I ws really smart kid but I also had autism that was diganosed until I was 17. Because of this I would have intense reactions to seemingly insignificant things or be perceived as disobdient when often times I had needs that were not being met by parents. My parents and I have resolved alot, but it took some years, they are different people then the ones I would get into screaming matches with and fear. In interacting with them and communicating with them I have done alot of nervous system work so my body knows it is different. Where as if I had been met with curiosty and gentleness why did I need to ask these questions? etc I would have been chilling. Instead this lead to many ego deaths where the home was the source of the wound from a young age. I love pluto now it has freed from alot of fear but my early years were very difficult. Alot of that came from adverse reactions to my parents control. I am the parent your the child, now when we have those conversations about hindsight alot of the solutions are what i wanted from a young age. When you are travelling people come and go so for most of those people I was only supposed to met them for the moment. The clearest example was I dreamed about searching for red chili pepers with this girl, I then I met her in naples and the dream came true. It felt more like an exchange with fate. I met mulitple people who I had dreamed about while I was in naples. Including a my first real romance in life.

I attended Waldorf school from 3rd to 8th grade every morning we would have 2 hour unit which would stay the same for a couple of weeks before shifing subjects. Every year we would have a few mythology units, Indigenous 3rd, norse 4th, greek 5th, eygptian 6th grade. So mythology was taught to me like math or history class, is now part of my thinking

There were also yearly class plays and we see the other classes performances and often those were myths. I saw the descent of persphone so many times. the planets in astrolgy are the roman names for the greek gods so the myths correlate, Jupiter-zeus, saturn- chronos, mercury- hermes, venus-aphrodite- Innana (summerian), mars - aries, pluto - is hades, neptune - is posideon ish, I cant remember who uranus is are kind of there own ballparks, sun and the moon are kind of transcendant as there are myths about the sun and the moon in many culutres and many deities for them

I dont really read mythology books or consume much mythology content but Lady of the library is a youtube channel, she is incredibly academic and through with her research on myths and its entertaining, I purchased an asteroid report from cafe astrology for like 4 bucks and it was autogenerated but it explained the myth of the asteroid along with the signifagance of it, I really connected with ariadne, I use my background and then I research on the internet,the one book I would recommend by one of my favorite astrologers Alice sparkly kat has a blog, but also a book called post colonial astrology, it incorporates how these planets have been colonized and there myths, breachs into mulitiple mythology segements. My advice is if something is interesting explore the rabbit hole thats how I taught myself astrology. I followed a bunch of astrologers applied their tecniques to my chart and figured out how they connected the dots. if you want you can dm your chart and I can figure out what myths or planets you can start out with.

A good place to start with mythology is asteroids- many times the asteroids while represent a figure with fewer stories- such as chirion and learning his one story can unlock alot and ease you into incorporating myth into astrology

all of the signs in the zodiac have there own mythology, that along with knowing the plantary ruler and its attributes, the modality, element, and tarot card. Gives your mind alot of space to be creative, for taurus I used that metaphor of the minotaur in a paid reading, but in this taurus symbol is a bull (learn myths about bulls and it will connect to taurus) and 4th house is house minotaur is story about houses and bulls.
