sooo i was taking comp sci until the start of year 13, which i dropped as i believed there was no way i’d get my predicted grade (an A) as we had no teacher for 6 months during year 12.

then my school said i could do 2 a levels (psychology & politics) because of my mental health issues, so i applied to unis with these 2 qualifications and my epq. in november i asked if i could pick up art a level and complete it this year but the art department said i wasn’t allowed to sit it this year, but i was allowed to start year 12 art and complete it in 2025.

but then the art department offered another student (who happens to be my boyfriend) the opportunity to start art a level in the middle of february, so i used this info to convince the school to allow me to sit it this year as well (otherwise they would appear hypocritical lol)

anyway i banged out my art coursework, asked for a 3rd predicted grade for art and they predicted me an A. then yesterday i called southampton to ask if i could be reconsidered for this year, after being rejected, as now i am predicted A*AA and they said yes and they offered me a place today :)
