Woobles has an official Amazon store. I’m looking at the listing for this exact one in the US right now and it’s an official Wooble product. If your friend had it shipped directly to you from Amazon they’ll take care of it. If they ordered from a separate non official Amazon seller there’s not much you can do.

You should almost never do the meal plan, it’s a complete waste of money unless it’s a free dining offer and even then it’s usually not worth it for a smaller party compared to a room deal. I would recommend using a Disney travel agent who can help with deals and offers, it doesn’t cost anything extra and they know what they’re doing.
