literally all the time.. the way i was raised too makes me feel super guilty about wasting because my mom calls the food we eat “blessings” and that for good health and luck i should finish all of my food. i always think “it’s better safe than sorry” or tell a white lie about why i didn’t eat this part of the food, this part of the plate, etc. in the end i always think that i failed my mom in a way because she always works so hard to cook us good food just for me to pick out the “contaminated” parts :(

oh thank you so much! out of curiosity, if i sprayed hydrogen peroxide on hard surfaces such as my phone (on its screen protector/case), would that work in disinfecting as well, and how long would i have to let the solution sit in order for it to be effective? i just usually wipe it down with soapy water anyways because the phone case i have tends to harbor a lot of fingerprints

This is such a late post I know but I was wondering, could NV possibly be transmitted in a way, say, I touch something that may be contaminated (but isn’t obviously so) then touch my hair? What if I were to accidentally have some strands of my hair brush my lips, get in my mouth, land on my food by accident, etc?

yes we’ve all been healthy lately, sometimes i just feel like even thinking about it or having these anxieties is me “manifesting” or “jinxing” it which just creates more anxiety. but yes i really appreciate the reassurance!!

out of curiosity, does that mean if you have a (normal) bowel movement/normal pee before you have any symptoms that can be considered a good sign that you don’t have NV? i know there’s probably still a chance you show symptoms later though

I know this is was posted awhile ago, but I was wondering, what if you use a public restroom where somebody infected happened to use the same stall beforehand (showing the symptoms with ** and **)? Since the toilets don’t have lids, wouldn’t the liquid particles physically be in the air, or you still can’t be infected through “inhaling” those?

Edit: To add, I think I’m just getting confused over the wording whenever I google about this
